Again, you lie because you cannot argue the point. i have said that the state cannot organize prayer as they are. You as an individual can pray as you wish, though you may suffer consequences if you fail to do your job because of your extra breaks. No one around here claimed you cannot pray and your insistence of that is a complete falsehood because you are incapable of dealing with the point.

Yes, they can pray silemntly, though loud prayer would probably be considered an interruption so they would be escorted out. the state cannot organize the prayer and tell people to participate. Organizing the prayer is respecting the establishment of religion and is also prohibited. The state must remain neutral to it and putting on the prayer is most certainly not neutral. Quit your lying.

You personally can organize a prayer, though interrupting a meeting with it would be not allowed. You are not free to use speech to interrupt town meetings. You will be escorted out. Any time you want to you can organize prayer of your own, but you cannot do it as a representative of the city while on duty.

Funny how I'm supposed to just "tolerate" ghetto minorities who gangbang and commit crime while living off the taxpayer coin just because 25% don't, yet the same people that tell me that cant tolerate 1 minute of prayer....
Yet again, so then ALL religions should be able to have prayer correct? That's what the pro-prayer people don't understand. You can't allow one group to get "paid" while doing prayer and disallow other religions from doing the same thing "paid". So it becomes a jumbled mess.

The easiest solution is just not to have paid prayer.

Sure.... I suppose it would take a majority to want to. If a community were predominately Muslim then they can say Muslim prayer, if a community were Jews they could say Jewish prayer..... I don't care - if they want to pray then they have every right to pray...

Prayer isn't exclusive to Christians you know...

No, but right now prayer while getting paid is. You can't allow one group to get paid while praying and disallow that for others.

Not only can the state not force people to pray, they cannot force people to listen to a prayer.

Opening public meetings with a prayer forces people to listen to a prayer.

Yes, any individual/group/religion can pray to any god they want.... Those opposed to praying can play on their Iphone, wish for something or hail satin for all I care.

No one is being forced to listen to a prayer because no one is being forced to be at the meeting to begin with. You're at that meeting out of your own free will - not because someone forced you.

Good, so the next town hall meeting they can hold a prayer for Chritianity, then they have to hold a prayer for Buddism, then for about 30 other religions and denominations that want to be heard. That's productive.
