Perhaps you might just want to take a look at who controlled congress, especially the house, where all funding bills must originate.

Also, those wars were nothing compared to what we spend on social programs and were a lot more necessary.

Here's my problem with this. The Republicans should hold back trying to repeal Obamacare until they have the power to actually do it. For a party that claims to be against unnecessary spending, they have spent 53 million smackeroos that could either have gone someplace else, or have been used for tax cuts. Does anybody really believe that Republicans are serious about cutting the deficit now? People are not judged by the pablum puke they spew from their mouths. They are judged by what they actually do.

    Very dumb. Very dumb.

This may become an even bigger problem seeing as how the bill might actually do something about the insane costs of health insurance. Seeing as how it looks like in many of the states implementing it you are seeing a drastic decrease in health insurance costs to affordable levels the act may actually gain support. I was just reading some news NY rates went down to around 55 dollars a month as opposed to the hundreds of dollars that used to be their minimum. If employers can get rates like that when the mandate comes into effect it is actually good for them too. To give you an idea that is a .34 cent an hour benefit for a FT 40 hour a week employee. When you consider tax incentives and the reality bulk insurance purchases end uip being less it really is not a terrible expense for an employer to make to comply with the law, and your FT employees get health care and can stop bitching about not having it.
But when people get hours cut and layed off so businesses can reach exemption status....

Then who is that good for?

    Not so.

No money, it dies. Obamacare was stupidly passed in a budget bill and it can die the same way. Look at it as one slick boy move answering another. I have no problem with it at all. After all, Obama himself has made it clear he has no intention of following the law anyway.

I don't even think those opposed have to repeal the whole thing - just certain elements. Doing that would be like pulling a load-barring wall from a house - the whole thing collapses.

Obamacare was a waste of time, energy and money - plenty of democrats realize this as well.

It's not being implemented now is it? No, because anyone with a brain realizes that it will kill jobs and tank the economy even further given the requirements on businesses.

There are a lot of laws/programs that are "laws/programs" however, they're not enforced or not funded.

It is just partisanship just like "pablum puke" and "very dumb." I find it distasteful on both sides of the isle.
