    Man Arrested After Photographing John Kerry's House......

    Police have arrested a man after he was seen taking a photograph of U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry's home in Boston.



    Authorities found a pellet gun in the man's car parked near the house and arrested the man on Sunday for having an open container of alcohol, Kerry spokesman Glen Johnson said in a statement.

    Kerry was not at home at the time. State Department security officers called police after the man was spotted taking a picture of a window in Kerry's house, Johnson said.....snip~

    It also appears the guy that was arrested was another Eastern European Type if not Russian.....from Boston too. Hope someone in Obama's Admin is still attempting to cover all bases.

    Boston News is calling him an armed man. Because he had a pellet gun in his car.

    Armed West Roxbury man arrested after photographing John F. Kerry’s Beacon Hill home.

    A man arrested Sunday taking photos outside Secretary of State John Kerry’s Beacon Hill home will be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court today on alcohol related charges.

    Vladimir Romanov, 29, of West Roxbury, was apprehended Sunday afternoon for possession of an open alcohol container, authorities said. Boston police found a pellet gun in his vehicle.

    The investigation into Romanov is continuing.

    But aint it kinda cool that Kerry has those Government house-sitters at like 50k a year to watch over things when he isn't around.

    You understand that he's the Secretary of State, right? That someone doing surveillance, or worse, an attack, on SecState could have serious repercussions for the country?

    Uhm.....yeah, why do you think I said that for Team Obama, lets hope he is at least covering all the basics. Since he could be Russian. As well as considering what took place in Boston. One would have to think. Even the most basic of common sense should apply.

    Although there is no reason for the media to embellish upon being an armed man when the Pellet gun was found in his car. No sense in loosely exaggerating things. As I doubt a man with a pellet gun is going to get past Kerry's Security who would be firing real bullets.

    Yea but it was a scary looking black pellet gun with a pistol grip with a high capacity pellet magazine, clippy longing thingy.

    If you start taking pictures of federal buildings/high profile officials houses/army instillation's etc it's not illegal but you can expect someone to stop you and to start asking questions.

    this kinda reminds me of a story...

    Back about 83 or early 84 I was stationed at El Toro. I was out jogging around the perimeter and at one area really close to the fence. A guy had gotten out of his car on the outside of the fence and was taking pics of the base. As I got closer I realized it was a Japanese guy and thought he must be a tourist, always taking pictures...If I remember correctly we were pretty far from the F18's but suddenly he was literally swarmed by MP's, thrown up on his car, they were taking his camera as I was going on past. I actually kinda felt sorry for the guy. Bet he never did that again. Later the MPs told me they just took his film and let him go.

    That happened to an old guy I know in Italy, but he was a tourist and apparently he took a picture of the wrong person as they were leaving a government building. He was thrown in jail and it was going to take like a day to get someone there who spoke English from the embassy so they did a leap frog language thing between 3 or 4 languages. They released him and kept his film. Once back in the US he started making a big deal about it because that role of film had several days worth of shots on it. The Italian government eventually sent the negatives to him with the shots from the government building blacked out. Says he still has no idea who was in the shot that created such a stir.
