Educate yourself, there would be no "punishment" if the rules are removed. The outcome would be solely up to the school boards and administrations. Not sure why so many aren't getting this.

Ok so i think those "zero tolerance" rules are a bit drastic when it comes to "playing" with imaginary guns but i also think this bill is also a bit drastic supporting defunding of these schools that have these rules.

I'd like to see the elimination of socialized schools altogether, as they rely on the forcible taking of other people's property. Congress should defund ALL schools.

No...you will destroy schools by putting an unconstitutional agenda ahead of actuall educating the students. School are to teach kids how to think, not what to think.

    Because they're liberals?
There is nothing demonstrably true that religion can provide the world that cannot be achieved more rationally through entirely secular means.

Are all these school boards and administrations liberal? I have no idea. Oh wait, you're assuming my position is based on linear politics in lieu of right and wrong. You're clearly mistaken.

Liberals are the majority in education and administration. I did a story a couple of days ago and the studies suggest that, at least among universities, liberals make up more than 70% of professors and staff. Conservatives make up 15%.

    You do the math.

We have laws to defund schools that refuse to have women's sport teams where there is a men's. Except that never ends up happening because the schools actually follow the rules rather when there is the potential loss of money involved. No one's education would get hurt, school boards would scrap those rules in 2 seconds if their funding was at stake.

Regardless, not sure what political affiliation has do with it. The zero tolerance rules are wrong, doesn't matter what the ideology of those that proposed them are.

Are you OK with a kid being suspended for playing cops and robbers, making a gun shaped pop tart or brining in a 1 inch toy gun or neon colored nerf gun from home? These rules are absurd and those that administer them refuse to yield.

We need a "No victim, NO crime" constitutional amendment.

I don't agree with that. Do you think zero tolerance for murder is a bad thing? Where it becomes a problem is when they have zero tolerance for something that is legal to do outside of school. That's stupid.

Which is why we need to present the administrators with a choice. Either stop with the stupid rules or don't get paid.
