    Jesus did not command us, or even lead by example, to ignore one's sin. Just saying.

    This is what happens when people try to pick and choose pieces of the Bible to support their claims.

    Stoning was a form of punishment for a perceived sin, just as you wish to punish homosexuals for what you see as a sin. That is what Jesus stopped. He was talking to two different people when he said each, "Let those without sin..." and "Go and sin no more". Unless you think he would have allowed the woman to be stoned later on if she was caught "sinning" again, then you cannot claim that one is connected to the other. Plus, Jesus didn't say anything about homosexuality being a sin. And since he would not know what was going to be put into the Bible (that whole "free will" thing), then you can't say that God or Jesus believe that homosexuality is a sin.

    Except Jesus/God/Holy Spirit wrote the Bible through Divine Inspiration, so actually He did know what was and would be included.
