I've already given money to the Nugent campaign and have recommended Ted Cruz as his running mate, Rand Paul as his secy of state, and Sarah Palin as his Secy of Education ....

Palin, Nugent and Trump aren't running. Rand Paul probably has about as much of a chance as his father.

Ted Cruz -- in his first term as a Senator. It would be fun to watch the righties who screamed that Obama wasn't qualified turn around support him. Not surprising, but fun.

Rubio's for real. I'd be very scared of a candidate like Rubio if I were the Dems. Jeb Bush will probably give it a go, but the question is does anyone really want Bush III? Scott Walker might, but I'd be shocked if he's able to get the nod -- Too much anti-labor baggage.

The real deals for the GOP didn't run in '12. They didn't want to blow their wad going against an incumbent. They'll be there for '16 though.

That's not the question you posed. You asked about McCain.

Nonetheless, I suggest to you, on veteran's issues, as with McCain they would be wise to do their homework. Not all on the right support veteran's issues to the extent they would like you to believe. Often times it's their lefty opponent that votes more favorably on veteran's issues.

Back in 08, had veteran's actually read this report, I suggest to you many would not have voted for McCain

you felt a need to attack me based on a response I made to another poster. you did seem upset. The fact is, you ranted about the service record of GOP candidates yet you supported a ticket that had no service and included a man with more deferments than Cheney. So service only appears to mater to you when you can use it to whine about candidates or faux candidates who don't support the issues that matter to you such as expanding the welfare state, punitive taxes on the rich, gay rights and gun bans

what are considered veterans issues and who decides that?
 
Id rather have GOOD QUALITY REALISTIC candidates that could actually win no matter their party.

But at the same times good entertainment is fun also

so i hope he runs and his partner is Palin, Bachmann, Cain or West. That would be priceless, a party that has zero chance but provides great entertainment

but like i said i hope a REAL candidate runs also

if i truthfully had to name the 2016 most likely candidate,id have to say ted cruz,because he has the energy and enthusiasm to capture the vote.democrats wont agree,but ofcourse they werent going to vote republican anyways.
