Actually, Lois apologized for any IRS wrong doing clear back in May, which suggests there was wrong doing or she wouldn't have apologized. Unlike her ex bosses, Lois refuses to resign and took the fifth back in June. Now here it is July and she wants immunity if she testifies. So you see, it wasn't all of a sudden.

the holocaust is something that required the cooperation of multiple factions. the Nazis collaborated with big business, its conquered territory, and of course its willing citizens who saw what was happening.

and of course the holocaust happened with the allied and nuetral nations acted with complete indifference to the slaughter. we did nothing to stop the slaughter, we were too focused on the war againist the axis, just like the nazis were more obsessed by the war against the Jews to win the actual second world war.

The IRS has already admitted it specifically targeted Tea Party and Religious Groups. 250+ Groups in fact were purposely targeted and had their applications held up for months and months. Their applications were "conveniently" held up until after the election and sent to special technical groups for "evaluation" while liberal groups were instantly approved.

A lot of Liberal groups got the same questions and delays that conservatives did and some of their applications were the only ones denied by the IRS. How come their applications weren't held up for the election, too?

What a lot of emphasis on a un-needed document. All the orgs declared and got their exemption when they sent in their returns... with or without that elusive piece of paper. The law that allowed that for political orgs is what is corrupt here.

Yes, tea party groups got extra scrutiny but so did progressive groups....

The spokeswoman told NPR, which called back to verify the accuracy of the quotes, that the inspector general was only asked to look at the targeting of Tea Party groups. The letter now asserts that the scope was much broader. "We reviewed all cases that the IRS identified as potential political cases and did not limit our audit to allegations related to the Tea Party.".....<snip>.....The letter further muddles what had already become a mess of selective information releases, partisan bomb-throwing and rhetorical hyperbole. But it makes it clear the inspector general believes Tea Party groups did have it worse than progressives. A conservative by any other name is still a conservative. Prior to the Civil Rights Act most conservatives in the South were Democrats. But lately they've been switching to Libertarian, Independent, Centrist, Moderate....anything to distance themselves from the GOP Republicans. Apparently, the shame of having been a Republican was too overwhelming.

Besides which I always considered that a BS move. Unless a person specifically says that they wave those rights then they should be able to invoke it at any time no matter how much info they give prior to invoking it.
