Exactly. He's deep sixing documents. And since he interfered with the initial internal investigation by the IRS, heaven knows how deep his involvement was.

There are Democrats on the committee too. Issa doesn't get to run it as a dictator. If there is more evidence then let's see it.

If the cops target both red cars and white cars but they only target white cars at intersections while they target red cars all over and when they contact a white car they are allowed to either stop it or investigate but they have to investigate all red cars is that really something you're going to call proper and equal?

You have no evidence that tea party groups on BOLO lists were treated any worse than progressive groups on BOLO list.

What is Issa hiding, and why did we have to get this far in the investigation to find out that the BOLO lists including progressives?

Why doesn't Issa release the transcripts as well as his communications with the initial IRS internal investigation, which neglected to say that progressives were targeted (as they were by the way under Bush).

It looks like we need to be doing some investigation of Issa and the GOP leadership to get to the bottom of what happened.

Progressive groups did not have the same level of scrutiny. Progressive groups didn't have their petitions forwarded to a separate group for special scrutiny.

Even if their flimsy strawman was true, that somehow 500 progressive and atheists groups were targeted by the IRS for harassment and intimidation, how does that minimize what the IRS has done? Now the facts are out: The IRS targeted progressive groups, apparently involving GOP operatives, and apparently Issa tried to cover that up and is still trying.

It's a whole new ballgame. Reid is apparently thinking of starting an investigation of his own. Issa will figure prominently.

In short the America people have been had by the GOP. It will be funny to see what happens when they find out for sure.

Funny thing, there are some major concrete things to be upset with the Obama Administration, including the fact that they have done pretty much nothing to change the regulations of the banking industry... an industry that almost collapsed the American economy. Amazing that it seems few are angry about this, yet get a boner with incredibly stupid stories like the IRS.

The IRS did not target 500 Progressive/Atheist Groups and send all their applications to a special task force that held up all their requests for months upon months until after the election. You're just bleeting the big lie and smokescreen that your puppet masters in the Obama regime and the MSM want you to believe. What's sad is that they play you like a fool for free. According to the House Rules, Rule X, section (j)(1):

In this particular matter, for whatever reason, they have not. The reason they have not yet presented a witness to directly refute claims of impropriety or "targeting" is unknown but they are not prevented from doing so.

Issa has had control of the documents starting from his interference with the internal IRS investigation. And he refuses to release transcripts of interviews, presumably because the include bad facts.

There is no credible evidence that shows the Obama administration is anywhere involved with this "scandal." All it evidence seems to point to the fact that the IRS is extremely incompetent, especially when they started to get increased request for 501c4 nonprofit after the Citizens United decision in Jan 2010. Despite the lack of evidence, Rep Darrell Issa has been saying Obama is involved.

The IRS, since Obama's first inauguration, is a part of the Obama administration. They cannot be separated.

The question is: Does this mean they were directed to do this, or does this mean they did it on their own to try and please?
