He lied

He lied
yeah if you are a grunt you chase, if you are performance driven and paid they chase you
Nice political fodder but there really is more to the story
Disability Rolls and the Makers/Takers/Fakers Nonsense | Jared Bernstein | On the Economy
You would think those average joes would recognize that.
Wouldn't you think most people would value their credibility. Not in republican land!

Yeah...a large group of workers "chase" and those are the one's that work their full life in labor intensive fields and their bodies don't last long enough to reach retirement age.
Hence a lot of Boomers going onto disability roles that were "chasers"...you know...those despicable folks that worked shifts on assembly mines or in coal mines. Not cool performance driven folk like yourself.
Translated, you are programmed by the liberal propaganda machine
So you are saying they were too stupid to see what was coming? How is that anyone's fault but their own? Most would call that poor planning.
And then there are some who think a man elected POTUS five years ago caused the decline of this world!
I think it's just time we realized that some people, for whatever reason, would rather live in poverty, skim by, barely make do -- than actually work for a living. And let them have at it. We'll probably never have full employment in our country; so those people who'd rather scam the system, work out of the back of trucks, drive cabs and double-dip into SS disability? I say let them have at it. We're better off paying them to stay in the sidelines than treating whatever psychological problem they have that makes them too damned lazy to work a real job. I just hope the rich can continue paying them their benefits.
And what about the people who are ACTUALLY disabled. My dad is, and we get hardly any money from his check, and my sister is turning 18 in a few weeks, and we are losing the 800 bucks that we would get from her as a dependent. Which sucks because now we have to get help from family to be able to eat. And we're too "rich" for food stamps apparently, living on this is just real ****ty.

So, what's the plan? It seems "you" have learned that dependence on the actions of someone else is leaving you in a bad situation.
With 19,210 posts to your credit, perhaps "you" could discover how to make money with "your" time on the internet, rather than spreading "your" opinion about how "you" view things.

I don't know who you are...how old you are...whether or not you work...whether or not your dad can work...whether or not your 18-year-old sister is planning on living at home, getting a job and paying room and board. Whether YOU pay room and board. Whether your dad can work a part-time job as many disabled can.
Don't ask me, "What about us," unless you're ready to share the nitty gritty. I'd also like to know what's so bad about getting help from family when one's in a bind? You'd rather it be strangers??
I'm going to school, that's my plan. The families plan is to get into a house with a lower payment by the end of summer. Seriously, stop judging, I'm just saying that there are people who really need this stuff, and it's not all party hats, and hand jobs.
Still can't rebut the facts, I see. Like clockwork.

Yes...they are sooo stupid for not seeing economic trends 35 or so years ahead of time.
I hope you're making billions with all the foresight you take for granted. I work with some brilliant well compensated people and they don't claim the ability to predict economic trends that far in advance.

He was talking about preparing for retirement. Yes, most people know that in roughly 35 years they may be entering a time when they need to retire. We have an enormously expensive social insurance just for this issue, are you saying people aren't aware of it? Maybe they should spend 1% of that SS money to educate the public, run Saturday morning awareness in between cartoons so the kids who know their **** can then tell their parents what they saw on TV....
In all seriousness, people avoid saving and long-term planning because it's their choice. We should absolutely train them better, but then you'd have to reform our massively expensive public education system and you know who runs that show, and it's not the evil-conservobots.
