No stranger than someone saying "Their gut told them" something, which is a phrase I commonly hear as well.
They thought about something and their inutition led them to go in a particular direction. Call it god, call it ones gut, call it a feeling, call it whatever you want...I don't really see a big deal to it, and I get more of a laugh at those that try to act like "OMG CRAZZZZZZZZY PEOPLE!" than those that actually say it.
or more importantly, you have no evidence to support your accusation that the Speaker bribed people to keep his post.
What accusation? I never accused Boehner of anything.
One's "gut" is no more physically able to "tell" you something than your refridgerator or "god". The only difference is you're willing to rationalize out the saying because it's one you have no issue with, and dislike it on the other because you have a beef with the underlining messages behind it.
What if god tells me that my gut is wrong?
Who do I believe?
Can't we just turn Congress off and then turn it back on again?
The quantum weirdness of conservatism just keeps growing. It's like a Higgs Field of bizarre ideology.
