If white people made the same complaint, the Libbos would coming out of the woodwork screaming, "racist", and, "xenophobe". However, it's a sin in the Church of Liberalism to criticize anyone that isn't white.

Why did it take black "leadership" so long to realize this bill
will utterly destroy and marginalize the black community?

But, haven't we all been told that illegals do jobs that Americans won't do? So am I to assume as soon as they are legalized they won't do the jobs anymore?

First the liberal Dems use racism in their "politicking", then, when people realize every citizen will be adversely affected by egregious amnesty and legalization for 20 million illegals, and later after a time no one tries to put a stop to this egreigous "immigration" bill, groups of people, of American citizens, then begin to coalesce in like manner out of fear, very real and justified fear, now African Americans meeting the liberal Dem threat of Hispanic retaliation toward the Repubs head on racist-a-racist.

And so it descends .. maybe into a full-blown race-war (and if you don't think that's already happenning you haven't been paying attention to situations in South-Central Los Angeles and its suburbs via Black vs. Hispanic gang warfare!).

The liberal Dems threat against the House Repubs was "if you don't pass the bill, your party is as good as dead, as you will have aliented Hispanics".

That's a racist presentation on the part of the liberal Dems, a racist presentation that has, in essence, excused further retaliation in like racist manner.

We all need to take a step back and look at the whole picture.

Illegals and the Americans they stole from are from all races, and indeed more than 25% of the 20 million illegals in America are non-Hispanic.

    This isn't a racial issue.

    It's a law enforcement issue.

We have good laws on the books against trespassing onto American land, forging false identities, and stealing American jobs/classrooms/road space/living space/other resources belonging to Americans.

These laws simply need to be enforced and in a completely color-blind way.

The "immigration" bill needs to be killed, killed now, killed fast, killed dead.

Legislation needs to be passed to secure our borders and to, with the help of all countries who have law-breaking citizens in America, "encourage" all 20 million illegals and their kids to leave America and return to their ethically correct countries of origin .. and without any consideration to the race of any and all involved.
You don't trust Trump? Well, there's only one way to leverage him to do what's economically right for us all: Powerful American Political Alliance. Got courage?! .. and a mere $5.00?

Well, blacks are 13% of population, and latinos 16 or 17%, depends whose counting, and by 2030, latinos expected top 30%.

the black LEADERS are worried about THEIR jobs (political power).

Who gives a **** what black leaders think? Really, who gives a **** what these race baiters now have to say? I sure as hell don't, and immigrants aren't what put blacks in the positions they're in. Listening to these self-serving black charlatans (e.g., Jackson, Sharpton) is what did that. Playing the race card for 50 years did it, everyone has grown tired of it. Probably why employers are hiring Mexicans, they're tired of the endless whining and racial lawsuits. Blacks voted for all these liberals who want amnesty, now let them live with the results. I see there are a few rightwingers in there, but that doesn't sway me a bit. Black people need to look for examples of successful people (and mimic them), and I don't mean the NBA.

Latinos are VERY hard working, most of them.

I've worked with many, both in USA and abroad.

    Wonderful people.

Of course I'm not referring to LA gangstas

    Seriously?

We're decades in to this problem, we've seen it coming, seen it developing, we alreadly know that it's bad even without an amnesty program.

And you're still at a point where you need to compete with foreigners, many of whom don't even speak our language, for employment?

Ummm... too bad, so sad, go fvck yourself.

Or I should say, feel free to b!tch, moan, and complain about it, by all means, just don't expect me to care.

And this isn't just a "black thang".

I don't care what color you are, or which direction your roots run.

If you're an American and you're in a position where you need to compete with an illegal Mexican for a bean-picking job...that bed you made? Go ahead and sleep in it.

They are only looking at it through their own colored spectrum not the over all picture...unfortunately.
Illegals come in and take whatever job they can get; construction, farming, warehouse, manufacturing etc...it doesnt matter, they will take whatever work they can get and will do it cheaper than an American worker. It not only effects blacks, it effects everyone.

We have an overflowing job pool right now with not enough work to accommodate the legal workers we have now...add 12-30 million more new legal workers...well you can do the math...it wouldnt look good for those wanting to work.

Re: Black Leaders : Immigration Bill Will 'Harm' African American Workers

I have been wondering when - or if - they were going to clue into this. The segment of our populace that is harmed most by large scale amnesty (de facto or de jure) is our urban poor.

Currently hiring an American is expensive - we come with all kinds of tax and regulatory burdens attached. Hiring an illegal to do the same, menial labor, however, is cheap - and risk free! If you fire then for failure to perform, off they go, without trying to sue you or anything! Of course employers are going to seek out illegals rather than similarly educated or experienced low-income Americans.

quoted for truth. Except that no white leaders would make this complaint, for precisely that reason.
