IRS: Cheapest Obamacare Plan Will Be $20,000 Per Family

Then either it is typed out wrong or you aren't reading it correctly. The most logical conclusion from this is you have no idea what you are talking about. A plan that has 80% copay with no out of pocket cap is not allowed under ObamaCare. And that's not just me saying that, but every source I can find backs me up. You are mistaken, misinformed or just plain lying.

No you are. I had great insurance before Obamacare always taking the high plan even though the cost was more because the coverage is great. Now thanks to Obama and the stupid ass liberals that support him I am having to waste time and money jumping through hoops to maintain a gold plan that does not even compare to the high plan I had before. Everyone that refuses to jump through hoops gets dumped to the bronze which means you would be just as well off without insurance.

You don't even know what a bronze plan is. How do you expect anyone to believe anything else you say? You said that is only pays out 20% of the bill and has no out of pocket cap. You are wrong. The bronze level means you pay 80% of all costs. My company went to this plan forcing to jump through all kinds of hoops to maintain the great insurance we had before Obamacare.

This is false. There is a cap on out of pocket expenses on all plans offered after Obama Care is full implemented. It's the law. It's also false that you pay 80% of costs up to the out of pocket limit. You pay your deductible, then 20% of costs, til you hit the limit, at which point everything is covered.

And we wonder why people are scared. They don't know a damn thing about it.

I'm just pointing out that you aren't paying 80% of "all the costs". You are only paying 40% on a bronze plan, and after a certain amount, it is fully covered. Those are drastic differences.

And yea, put me on ignore, along with all those facts that you're not paying any attention.

No, no, no, I am paying 80% of the premium instead of the gold where I pay 20%. Those are real costs, I was not talking about the coverage.

Those are all the cost of premiums, before this we had a high plan and a low plan, since Obamacare we have these three and none are as good as what we had. Basically we got penalized by this new legislation as the cost for the ****ty plans now are more than even the high plan was before that legislation.

I work for a small business and we haven't changed our plans one tiny bit. Your employer, if he was giving you good insurance, wasn't required to change a thing.

And if your employer is offering you a Gold health care plan and you only pay 20% of the premiums then you are insane for complaining about that. Extremely few plans that are given to employees right now or in the past are better than the gold plans under ObamaCare.

Adding 26 year olds to our insurance alone was the largest increase I have ever received since working here, more that the last 10 years combined.

My high plan was much better than this gold ****

I doubt that. And even then, exactly what are you complaining about? Your employer had the option of leaving your plan alone. The exchange is not mandatory if you already had a plan in place that met the specifications which you claim yours was even better.

Quite frankly I don't believe what you're saying. You are saying that your employer is willing to cover 80% of your premiums if you get the most expensive plan but only 20% if you get the cheapest one? Why on earth would they do that? It makes no sense. They would be rewarding you for making them pay for more of your insurance costs.

Quite frankly, your either lying or incredibly ignorant of everything regarding your health insurance plans.

You have displayed an ignorance of even basic concepts of healthcare reform, and health insurance through out this entire argument. Feel free to prove me wrong.

And you have shown how sheep are easily led by a sheppard (obama) about something as complicated as insurance. My company insurance was great until Obamacare. Basically Obama screwed 85% of America trying look like a hero for the 15% that will never have coverage. I have already proven you wrong with your assumptions that everyone is the same which tells me you don't know your ass from a hole in the ground when it comes to the various companies and coverages in insurance.:roll:

In response to the bolded: BS! The entire thrust of PPACA was to mandate that all "private" medical care insurance must cover dependents until age 26, not base premium rates on anything but age and smoking, cover pre-existing conditions and not charge any "out of pocket" additions for many gov't designated "free" treatments. These mandates obviously are not "free" to the insurance company as they will result in more covered expenses from the actual care providers but cannot be passed on to only those customers that incur the added charges - resulting in premium rate increases accross the board.
