Oh, so it's the fault of those ALL small business owners that they went out of business? Is that what you're saying?

BTW, how much is Obamacare going to cost businesses, on the average? How's about you email Dear Leader and ask him for your daily talking points.

Find out how much bleach is sold to consumers in this country and then you'll know how much bleach goes into the sewer system.

Yep! Mom and pop outfits can't afford to dispose of those products, hence they couldn't stay in business.

    Wow...

For pouring bleach in a drain?

The state must be hard up for technicalities, and charging those with large wallets huge fees.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but bleach is chlorine diluted in water, typically about 3%. We use in and flush it down the drain...

As a whole I like Walmart though, I know that they do a lot to provide low cost products to lower income individuals. They also have one of the most humane and ethical pharmacy operations out there.
Let's not get carried away, Walmart is no charity, they are in it for the money. I shop there too but I don't have any illusions. They are a shining example of the fault of pure free-market capitalism, the big will keep swallowing up the small until there is only one corporation left. It's all in the name of "efficiency" and it's up to Govt. to stop it from occurring. There is no free market without competition and that day keeps getting closer with every M & A.

No, they were put out of business long ago by earlier chain stores. Those surviving today will not go out of business because of Walmart.

Who's going to protect us when the government starts deciding who gets to stay in business and who doesn't?

I think our Leftist friends are all too willing to give the government more power than it needs.

The amount shouldn't matter. Hazardous materials are hazardous materials.

You sound just like Greenspan when he was hawking "Financial Modernization" by elimination of banking restrictions passed in the 1930's. . He swore up and down that Bankers were different now and would not let greed screw up the world's economy anymore. That lasted about 7 years...
Without proper regulation, history has shown us that capitalism doesn't work very well. We had it going pretty well for 35 years until greed and Republicans started chipping away at the controls we installed. It's been downhill ever since.
