What "out of control spending" are you talking about?

God, if we had 100 Ted Cruz's in the Senate we'd actually have the government as specified by the Constitution. God Bless Ted Cruz.

I think it would be more like an arena along the lines of the Thunderdome with mixed martial arts fighters. Ted Cruz is proud of his refusal to compromise - 100 of him would result in chaos at a minimum - but hey, you can dream, it's your right to hold all the fantasies you wish

“Is McCarthy someone you admire?” reporter Todd J. Gillman wondered.

“I’m not going to engage in the back and forth and the attacks,” Cruz replied, declining to distance himself from McCarthy.

A perfect spokesman for the new and moribund GOP.
Here is a good example of how the left wing operates. They compare Cruz to McCarthy on the basis that they think they look alike. That is all they need to start questioning him about McCarthy. Then, he won't comment on such a stupid comparison, so the nut bags then say he "declined to distance himself from McCarthy".

I haven't heard Obama distance himself from Mussolini, should we ask him about that?

Well, we always need an opposition party, no matter how wrong they are. I'll take 67 Ted Cruz's, just to make things fair.

Such a fine example of binary thinking. If everyone doesn't do exactly what Ted Cruz demands - that makes them traitors to his imaginary nation.
He scares you, we get that.

Speaking of Death Stars, why hasn't the WH began funding the construction of one?
