I imagine they got their ducks in the row there. Phelps and a few of his daughters are very competent attorneys from my understanding

You seem to differ from others in that your dislike of Westboro arises not from the despicable, disrespectful things they have done to others, particularly fallen American soldiers, but rather your hatred of Westboro seems to stem entirely from the fact that they will not endorse your homosexuality.

Oo, a direct hit below the belt. So what separates you from Westboro?



The Westboros' doctrine against Gays is no different than what mainstream Evangelicals preach. The only differnence is in the way they choose to express it...take Ray for instance. He used "homosexual" as a derogartory term to try and insult another poster. So what makes his belief about Gays any different than Westboro's belief?

Allow me to defend religion for once. Very few Christians, certainly not tens of millions, actually believe that a pro athlete coming out leads directly to a tornado, that 9/11 was god's punishment for gays, or celebrate every time a soldier is killed. You're right that the hatred comes from the same source, but just about everyone condemns these nuts.
