So you're cool with a President lying to the American people and to grieving families of murdered Americans for political expediency?

It's not a crime to deny additional security after repeated requests? The stand down order as Americans fought for their lives wasn't a crime?

Obstruction of justice is not a crime? Blaming a youtube video, intimidating and demoting diplomats who speak out and refusing to disclose emails between WA and Libya was an obstruction, a lie, and yes criminal.

LOL....you think this was an intel report....to members of Congress? That the House and Senate Intel comm members would have been left out?

If leaving out intel still being used by the CIA et al is a "cover up", you have some very weird double standards. I can imagine how you feel about pre-war Iraq intel.

No it's not. That's a decision about deployment of military forces. There is no law forcing the President to do it one way or another. Have you considered that moving all the security over to Benghazi would have left the Embassy in Tripoli unprotected?

Obstruction is a crime, but usually that entails things like defying a court order. Emails between DC and the Libyan government are privliged, and likely classified information. So not releasing them to you is not a crime, it's probably a good idea.

Show what laws were broken.

Frankly I just find it pathetic that people are so wholly absorbed by their party affiliation that they will defend absolutely anything the party does without question, without facts and without thought.

Um...where you said this was being "given to congress (sic)" and that "don't you think they should have as much information as possible". They get that kind of intel in intel reports, not from initial press reports from the WH.

My tangent was only to prove the absurdity of your point at the time - HC invents the video meme and tells a family member they will get the guy who made it because they were trying to protect the investigation into the attackers?

Perhaps you should read up and bit and you might understand. The news services jumped on the story based on the altered emails. This prompted the whitehouse to release the emails. The release of the emails not only squashed the "conspiracy theory" that the Repubs were trying to sell...it exposed the fact that the emails were altered specifically to try to create a scandal where the Republicans were being unsuccessful in their attempts.
