Bowler Shoots Himself

It's probably worth taking a bullet or two if it means protecting your bowling ball from would-be thieves.

Yes, this is very newsworthy and should land on the floor of Congress to address as the first order of business.

Ahhh so he gave himself the ole Plaxico Burress

I don't know about a pistol, but there are times i wish i had a shotgun for that damn 10 pin. Shooting myself in the leg has never actually crossed my mind in a game, but i guess some gun owners are a special kind of stupid.

Perhaps he only desired his teammates to believe he was overjoyed to see them?

A bowler in Florida had a gun in his pocket while bowling.

Guess what happened.

Any comments?

I am just going to guess that this probably won't happen again with the same dude.

There is no such thing as an accidental discharge

Be glad the ****tard shot himself and the bullet didn't hit the ground and ricochet to one of the *innocent bystanders...like kids*

Sure there is. It doesn't mean the dumbass wasn't stupid to have the accident lol.

have to disagree. there is no such thing as an "accidental" discharge. any unintentional firing of a weapon is a NEGLIGENT discharge.

Though if they did it would be the most useful thing accomplished by Congress in recent memory.

Think of all the idiots on the internet. Now imagine them with guns in their pocket with the safety off.

hey, they are very busy trumping up charges on benghazi against Obama and trying to pretend he made the IRS corrupt. Show some respect please.

As long as we can put them in a confined space where they cannot shoot intelligent people like myself i am cool with it.

The good news is that idiots with guns in their pockets most likely not be able to father more idiots. LOL.

reminds me of an old army buddy of mine. Dude lost a testicle because he "forgot" he had a pencil in his pocket while we were doing rappelling training. OUCH!!!!!

Private Pencil-Dick?

So there's no such thing as accidental car crashes?

most car crashes are alcohol related...did the driver "accidentally" get drunk?
another large percentage are due to distracted driving. not paying attention to your driving is no accident.
crashes caused by people driving while tired are also not "accidental"

about the only car crashes that could be considered "accidents" are those caused by unforeseen mechanical failures of the vehicle.

So, I suppose I should ammend my previous statement and say that "the only accidental discharge is one that occurs when a weapon spontaneously fires itself due to some flaw in manufacturing"

I can't think of a single example of an "accidental" discharge that wasn't due to negligence on the part of the gun owner.

So there's no such thing as accidental car crashes?

Who is responsible for the care, maintenance, inspection, assembly/dis-assembly of a weapon?

There is no such thing as an AD. HE made the gun negligently discharge!

A weapon malfunction is just that. Not much excuse for those either if you are inspecting your tools when you maintain them.

It can be an accident and still be negligent. I get the whole concept...it is to avoid saying that someone wasn't to blame.

if you are negligent...then it wasn't an accident...and you are to blame
