    Laughable.
Yes the Democrats are almost worthless. Congratulations you have just figured out why right-wing propaganda and control is so dangerous and harmful to our country. The biggest fraud of our lifetimes was orchestrated by the financial industry and given near perfect protection from the Republican party and the Democrats were not able to do anything to stop it.

Who knows if they will actually get rid of Rush or not. beck was one thing, but rush is another. The problem most of the Rush supporters seem to not recognize is that if you lose advertisers listeners don't actually matter. It is a business and listeners are valuable as an audience that allows you to sell exposure through advertising revenue. If the advertisers are going away because you message is so disgusting that they won't buy time then it is time to move on.

there is also another problem with rush and the faux news demographic. Their audience is not the desired demographic. You can argue that rush and faux have an audience but they have a real problem coming around the bend in that their audience is much older, and they are alienating the younger audience who is also the big spending audience. It is not just the age demo either, but faux also tends to attract the lower educated poorer demographic which advertisers are probably well aware of.

It is just a matter of time before Rush leaves and pretends it is his choice to search out a venue on his own. I am sure he will get listeners wherever he goes. However, once he leaves his present umbrella his ratings will never recover, and his power will be gone.

Dick Morris doesn't like Rush Limbaugh, but for a different reason... elections. See the video of Morris at the link:

Were this a "violently right-wing" economy, a peculiar term at best, then one would assume that we'd see an abolition of the progressive tax, a true abomination, income tax, Public Assistance, OSHA, the FDA, the EPA,the Consumer Protection Agency, the Minimum Wage, Social Security, Public Worker Unions, compulsory union membership in any occupation, Court mandated affirmative action in hiring, business licensing, child labor laws, and income taxes levied against corporations which is a form of double taxation. Mind you, these are just the examples that I'd expect a reasonably bright private middle school student to be able to come up with.
Your idea of right-wing is if every single progressive action that has ever occurred was repealed in its entirety since the inception of the U.S. This is the kind of black and white, extremist, far-right thinking that has gotten us into so much trouble recently. You see this as "normal".

Look at what has happened in the last 30-40 years. Unions have largely been broken, they wield substantially less power than they ever have. Corporate interests have soared, CEO, executive pay have soared to unprecedented levels while worker pay has been stagnant since about 1980. Corporations / business interests have almost complete control of congress. The financial industries have been largely deregulated with disastrous consequences yet right-wing propaganda is still pushing harder and harder for even more deregulation and anyone who disagrees is a communist / socialist. Wealth inequality is extremely high, the middle class is continuously shrinking and becoming weaker and weaker.

    Are you blind to this?

This is all well and good but does it really matter? The country is being pushed so far to the right that even when a Democrat gets elected we get center / center-right leadership. Look at how effective Obama has been. Almost everything even remotely "left" he has tried to do has been destroyed, watered down, repealed, obstructed.

The financial criminals have largely walked away unscathed.
The middle class has seen almost no improvement in the last five years.
We are still marching down the path of fossil fuels.

That is the effect of right-wing propaganda, its all we can do to just try and slow down the effects.

Unions are simply legalized extortion. I detest them.

Again, we must move beyond fantasy. I look abut me and see little of this "disastrous consequence" that you imagine that I would not primarily ascribe to the consequences of excessive government. The "Stimulus" scam, the interference of the government in the housing market, the interference in wages, and now, the "health care" debacle in which a foolish people imagines that a collection of lawyers can constructively take effective control of the medical industry, about which they possess little to no expertise.

I will repeat something I've said before. To be a Modern Leftist in America is to live in a dream world. It is a set of poor mental habits unsuitable for actualized adults.

Reality beckons to you. She is a harsh, but ultimately inescapable mistress. Submit to her. You will in the end anyway.

Your manner of trying to sound fancy and intelligent while mixing in insults is truly charming, however I'll have to disagree with your conclusions.

Literally nobody is suggesting that limbaugh doesn't have a right to do what he does. So have fun with your straw man.

Morris is right. Limbaugh is part of the Golem that is the rightwing noise machine. It can't be turned off. It can only become more and more shrill, more and more extremists, grinding up any semblance of sanity in the GOP (is there any left).

That's why I actually love Limbaugh: he and Hannity and the rest of the freaks that stir up the tea party minions insure that the GOP will be an electoral irrelevancy even sooner than expected.
