Look at the role it played in WWII. It plays a major role in every aspect of our lives and the very fabric of our society.

I don't listen to his show or any other similar show. I do however keep tabs on the crap he spews and the effect it has on his victims.
Please point out one instance in which the "propaganda" of Rush Limbaugh directly led to any criminal act.

If you can't, you are simply ranting about one opinion-maker whom you disagree with and would like to see silenced.

That, in fact, makes you the bad guy.

    Calm yourself.

There is hardly a "Ultra right wing" anything is this country. That's just a silly myth for people who know nothing of history or political philosophy.

Sign up for Rush's website, it's cheap enough. One thing that you'll discover is that it lists a large stack of documentation from a wide variety of sources for almost every issue he covers. Sad, but true.

When I started listening to him, I was a registered Republican and voted straight Republican, today I'm just the opposite.

Rush Limbaugh is an institution who will be behind the golden microphone until the day he dies.
He is part of a negative feedback loop that pushes America farther to the right every year. Obama today is what America considered a center-right Republican 30 years ago. Look at how much worse politically things have gotten since Clinton, then ask yourself why I hope for the downfall of people like Rush. It isn't so much about them, its about America transitioning away from them, that is what is important.

You know, the HUAC said the same thing and we still revile it as the mislabelled "McCarthyism".

Well there is the rampant fraud of the financial industries that walked away almost completely unscathed. This is largely due to right-wing propaganda which reframes criminals as "free market businessmen".

From a social perspective the country has made much progress away from traditional right-wing beliefs. However from an economic perspective the country has has gone violently to the far-right and that is where you see utter chaos today.

Uhhhh...wasn't it the Democrats who controlled both houses of Congress and the white house in the aftermath of the financial meltdown (2008-2010)?

They did nothing about it when they possessed unobstructed power to do something about it, and you lay blame on Rush Limbaugh.

    Laughable.

I'm not even sure how to respond to such a fantasy.

Were this a "violently right-wing" economy, a peculiar term at best, then one would assume that we'd see an abolition of the progressive tax, a true abomination, income tax, Public Assistance, OSHA, the FDA, the EPA,the Consumer Protection Agency, the Minimum Wage, Social Security, Public Worker Unions, compulsory union membership in any occupation, Court mandated affirmative action in hiring, business licensing, child labor laws, and income taxes levied against corporations which is a form of double taxation. Mind you, these are just the examples that I'd expect a reasonably bright private middle school student to be able to come up with.
