I don't really listen to anyone in particular on a regular basis, conservative or otherwise. However I have enjoyed considering the views of Ron Paul, Andrew Napolitano, Bill O ' Reilly (in the beginning before he became talking points Fox schill ), Milton Friedman, John Huntsman. It isn't necessarily their views either, its the way they present it, straight talk without the propaganda nonsense. There is garbage on both sides, especially on tv, however Rush is one of the worst imo, and I hope to see him taken down a peg, much like Glenn Beck.

Why, I'm sure in some circles it's important to believe that.

Didn't Limbaugh sign a $400 million contract back in 2008? Something tells me he's not fretting over "all the top advertisers" boycotting his show.

I think Beck was fired because he allowed religion to get too deep into his comments. He started off really well and then became darker and darker until he became more spiritual than political. I think he lost a lot of viewership. I don't miss him. Limbaugh, like many political commentators, is just too intractable. He is like Joaquin on this forum who couldn't say a nice thing about the other side if he had too. But Limbaugh is an entertainer and a successful one. He is just a little relentless for my taste.

Or when Sarah Palin put crosshairs on a map, she must have been suggesting violence. I suspect you defended that particular action.

I recall you people getting your panties in a knot over it, too.

I really hope this is the beginning of the end for Rush. I also really hope this is a signal that the country is sick and tired of political garbage for entertainment and is more interested in real discussion.
"Real discussion" to ALL progressives and neo-cons is; "see it my way or no way at all."

As a libertarian I cannot hold a conversation with authoritarians, nor do I want to.

However as a libertarian, I believe Rush has every goddamn right to speak his mind - authoritarian progressives don't think so, because --- well they're authoritarian..

IT'S NOT JUST GLENN BECK: FOX News Has Lost 21% Of Its Audience This Year - Business Insider

As far as your NRA comment, what does that mean? I called Glenn Beck's firing from FOX months before it happened and when he still had a large audience based solely on advertiser patterns.
Becks still on radio were he started if you don't believe me check out KNZR 99.7 FM out of Bakersfield. They have a website KNZR.com that has live streaming. Just press the live stream button. He's on 6-9 am M-F. He has more listeners than the NRA has members, like I said. 7+ million. Those are the kind of numbers that Cable TV News would kill for. CNN FOX and MSNBC don't even come close. Total viewership of ALL the major cable news networks COMBINED is a bit over 2 million. Seriously FOX was a SIDE gig for Beck. I mean really, all FOX was trying to do was get BECKS listeners to view them. His NORMAL audience outstrips FOXES best audiences by a factor of seven. So really the question is, who fired whom? I am willing to bet FOX didn't fire Beck, Beck fired Fox. Beck makes his money from radio, always has.

Rush had a TV show for 4 years way back when, 1992-1996 thereabouts, before most of the cable news networks existed. He also sold some very nice ties too.

I spit at lots of people through my computer screen. Not only does it "teach them a lesson" but it keeps the screen clean and shiny.
Stolen fair and square from the Capt. Courtesey himself.
