To her Wall Street owners: Hillary Clinton: “But if everybody's watching, you know, all of the back room discussions and the deals, you know, then people get a little nervous, to say the least. so, you need both a public and a private position.” - Hillary Clinton: "I'm kind of far removed from the struggles of the Middle Class"
Didn't Limbaugh sign a $400 million contract back in 2008? Something tells me he's not fretting over "all the top advertisers" boycotting his show.
I think Beck was fired because he allowed religion to get too deep into his comments. He started off really well and then became darker and darker until he became more spiritual than political. I think he lost a lot of viewership. I don't miss him. Limbaugh, like many political commentators, is just too intractable. He is like Joaquin on this forum who couldn't say a nice thing about the other side if he had too. But Limbaugh is an entertainer and a successful one. He is just a little relentless for my taste.
One of you will end up here next!
As a libertarian I cannot hold a conversation with authoritarians, nor do I want to.
However as a libertarian, I believe Rush has every goddamn right to speak his mind - authoritarian progressives don't think so, because --- well they're authoritarian..
Rush had a TV show for 4 years way back when, 1992-1996 thereabouts, before most of the cable news networks existed. He also sold some very nice ties too.

Stolen fair and square from the Capt. Courtesey himself.I spit at lots of people through my computer screen. Not only does it "teach them a lesson" but it keeps the screen clean and shiny.
