Easy for you to say and for me to pay.

But it's a pretty big burden on people who don't have a lot of money. I'm a strong supporter of income taxes but I'm not as big a fan of regressive taxes.

Cheaper doesn't mean lower income people can buy them. The sales that make this an issue are bigger ticket items: computers, cell phones, expensive cookware. Stuff like that.

Do you really think conservatives are fighting to protect poor people from taxes? BWHHAHAHAHAHH! Oh for fun!

Well enlighten us on why they are supporting it.

On the Glocks, one can only hope, if for no other reason than to pith off the libertarian wrongs. But first I must get mine in confederate Indiana where there are plenty of no background gun shows. Then I'll be safe to return to Illinois where we conceal carry, legal or not. And then there's my brothers in all the hoods if I need to hold off the fright-wingers.

I understand, but the answer isn't to let some people avoid the legal obligation to pay taxes that everyone else has to pay.

The answer is to change the state laws.

Actually the House GOP freaks aren't.

But to answer your question, even the weird conservatives in the Senate realize that not taking online sales discriminates against brick and mortar businesses, which is bad mojo.

Do it before the online tax goes into effect. Hurry! You need a gun to fight off ACORN.

Interesting presumption. My Cat Ladies buy dry food on the Internet using a credit card. This will add a burden of may $10-$20 a month to them.

I'm the guy who questioned why these taxes were so politicized so please answer your own question for my edification.

??? Has the house voted on it yet?

That's right, and they also know sales taxes are consumption taxes which are the 'best kind' and are oh so progressive...

    GOOD FOR THEM!
