Yeah, and hopefully it won't change enough to make life difficult for humans, this time.

AND that if it does, it doesn't turn out to have been our fault.

As it is, we treat the world like it's a rental and nobody's name is on the lease.

    Yes.

And sometimes those changes would have been the end of us.

    And could again.

Once long afo I was snake sitting for a friend.

Had a ten foot Columbian boa around my neck one morning (long story). Suddenly she clamped down. I calmly grabbed her head to get her off, and realized my arm wasn't long enough.

By the time I realized I couldn't get her off, I couldn't stand up.

I had time to realize I was about to die a REALLY stupid death before kicking an empty can at a friend passed out on the floor across the room.

Hopefully the aliens don't show up and find us dead of our own stupidity.

Some people just don't understand the difference between global climate and local weather. Sheesh!!

Read the actual article and note that it does not deny climate change?

And some people don't read sources. This thread is rife with those people, starting with the OP, who linked to a source that admits global climate change.

It also does not present it as the "sky is falling" that so many liberals would want us to believe

It is kinda neutral on that. It does agree that climate change is a reality.

Lordy.... let me help you with the basics here. Weather and climate are not synonymous. Weather is suppose to change day to day; climate is not suppose to change in a discernible way in a lifetime.

Once again the AGW crowd ignores reality.

The most hated of the "Deniers" have never doubted the that the climate has warmed since the Little Ice Age (and hooray for that!). The primary argument of Richard Lindzen, Lord Monkton, Steven McIntyre, Ross McKitrick, Roger Pielke Jr&Sr, Anthony Watts, Jo Nova, Bob Carter, Richard Feynmen etc. etc. is that anthropogenic influence on the climate will be minimal and never amount to the catastrophe being sold by the fear merchants.

Pretty much down the line the group of "deniers" can be better described as "lukewarmers" as they believe that the doubling of CO2 would result in about 1.5C rather than the 3.3C being pushed by the IPCC and Fear Inc.

The warming of the last century, especially since the climate has refused to warm for over a decade, is proving the lukewarmers correct and Fear Inc. to be wrong and their CO2 forcing models to be greatly exaggerated.
