Come to think about, society as a whole has lost a lot of common sense.that use to be there in the past.
I think you are trying to say it's common sense to let people believe what they want and praise when and where they want?.. I think?

    I think you are right.
This Reform Party member thinks it is high past time that we start electing Americans to congress and the presidency who put America first and their political party further down the line. But for way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.

    What's next?

DQ'd for waving to a cheering crowd?

    That's the death penalty.

    From the OP linked article
"Officials ruled that the gesture violated a state scholastic rule against excessive celebration, which includes raising one's hands"

and some wonder why the US is going downhill socially.

We are turning into a country where you can't celibrate success or accomplishments for the fear of offending someone. You can't openly express your faith, because someone may be offended. This has got to change.

I wonder if the rules folks would have DQ'd a Muslim. You realize that cartoonists run into trouble with these folks. And BTW, there probably wouldn't be a gay Muslim, The religion frowns on homosexual activity.

Whoever was involved with the DQ should be DQ'd from officiating sport events.

    The DQ is 100% ridiculous.
They are getting a little over excessive with the ruling. If the kid had got down on his knees and started worshiping Jesus or Muhammed or Ronald McDonald then that would be excessive celebration. But nah, raising an arm is not what I call excessive. What about all those cheerleaders in the tight shorts?

So an athlete broke a non-religious rule and Christians are complaining about being persecuted again. Imagine my surprise...

You can't prove a negative. Given the hypothetical, how about you prove that they would.

If you need proof that breitbart is biased....well that should be fairly obvious to anyone.
