Employees Get Tattoo of Company Logo For Pay Raise

Have you any clue what you're talking about?

Yes I do..I have 2 friends who have had tattoo's removed..trouble is..you can still see the outlines of the bloody things..

The Mark of the capitalist Beast?

No thanks.

I know people who get logos, who aren't employees nore are they getting any money out of it.

In most cases, that's idiotic. I'm sure the company will consider that when it's time for layoffs

While I have no personal problem if any of my employees want to get a tattoo advertising my company,I'm not going to be the one who pays them to do so.
Besides,if it violates the "no visible tattoos" agreement they signed,I have no problem firing their asses also.

I'm willing to get tattoos to honor my family. I'm willing to get tattoos to honor my heritage. I'm willing to get tattoos to honor the gods.

But unless that company is going to show me the same kind of loyalty, there's no way in Hell I'm going to get a tattoo to honor them.

If I wasn't Jewish I might consider it if I had a written gaurantee from the company that I would be employeed for the rest of my life and if the company every fired me I would receive a payoff in the amount of my salary for the rest of my life.

If they are asking you to put something on your body that is permanant, then you should expect the same commitment from them.

Why do you think god cares one way or the other about a tattoo or not on your physical, earthly body?

Rules are rules.

If you have a tattoo you cannot be buired ina Jewish cemetary.

And that's important why? Is there a special inspection of corpses before they're allowed to be buried?

By the way - rules are rules is pretty lame. Many Germans walked that line back in the 30's and 40's didn't they?

No way would I sell a portion of my skin-estate. I will not get a tattoo so no.

So none of the holocaust survivors can be buried in a Jewish cemetary? That seems pretty harsh.

Someone correct me if I"m wrong, but I can only assume that Yahweh would overlook the tattoo transgression that is not in any way the bearer's fault.

As for the company logo human branding....screw that noise. I can understand why people would do it, certainly...but that the company would want to do it to their employees doesn't speak well for them. The self-indulgent arrogance and disrespect is enormous.

From what I can see it's completely the employees choice to get one and it can be located anywhere and can be of any size. I'm not sure why you would think it arrogant and disrespectful for them to give someone a pay raise for something an employee chose to get. It ain't like they are checking for the tattoo before they give you your paycheck.

If the CEO would tattoo my name on his body in return, I'd forego the rewards entirely. I say this to prove a point:

He wouldn't do it...because he'd consider the very suggestion a personal imposition, and one which makes me ethically questionable.
