That is psychotic - **** that.

Though I must admit, it would be kind of awkward if I ever took a job somewhere else.

Doesn't that depend on where you put the tattoo?

If it was on your butt cheek who would ever know?

Plus - cover-ups are always an option are they not?

Seems almost like branding.

50 k cash.

Left shoulder, that way I can cover it up with a shirt when off duty!

Not holding my breath waiting for this. Can't get a raise from my employer period.

What about bottom of foot? It would wear off rather quickly.

I'd do it for a 15% raise especially if the company paid for the tatoo also. It's not like I'm doing anything else with the skin.

If I could opt for a very small logo, about the size of a half dollar, and get it anywhere I want, like a butt cheek, I'd do it for a 15% raise. Now if we are talking about a good size tatoo, or one that was in a very visable area, it would start going in to the hundreds of thousands territory to even get me to listen.

It would be easier if you worked for a cool company, a car manufacturer or something. I'd get a chevy tat for some money, even somewhere it could be seen like my back or shoulder.

Not doing anything else with the skin anyway???????

Probably have to be across your forehead..they'd want their moneys worth...

with job security as it currently is, there is no way I would want to walk around with the name of the company that downsized me. there's no feasible amount they could give me to do so.

That's what I was thinking.

Either way, it could never be the dumbest tattoo ever, because we have this guy...

Not bad money either!

"Forehead advertising made headlines in January and February 2005 when a 20-yeard-old man, Andrew Fischer, auctioned his forehead for advertising space on eBay.[7] The winning company, SnoreStop, bid $37,375 for Fischer to display the company's logo via temporary tattoo on his forehead for 30 days.[8] After this auction, Fischer became known internationally as the "Forehead Guy."[9] His website, HumanAdSpace.com, last reported that Fischer was working as an operator of several web forums.[10]"

I think the key word here is ''temporary'' not a permanent reminder of a crap firm you worked for 20 yrs ago..

Would I be able to put "Sucks" under it when I leave or would there be like a contract or something?

BTW, I don't hire people with visible tattoo's so I'd be more likely to fire you if you did that.

Well when you are selling space by the month you need to be able to change things pretty quick.

I'd get a permenent tatoo on my butt or my back for a 15% raise. Why not?

And what leverage would that give your firm..unless you were walking about in chaps...shirtless..

Did you read the link in the OP?

There were apparently no size or location restrictions for the logo tattoos. For instance, Brooke Koropatnick told CBS New York that she got hers behind the ear.
