I think you're right. I hadn't thought about that. Now would be a great time for the president to go golfing and have a hot dog or something. That way he can respond to such questions with, "Hey. We're just trying to play a round here.", or "Hey, I'm just trying to have a hot dog with a few friends." Kind of gives a human quality to his feigned ignorance. Worked before.

I can't shake the mental picture that I have of seeing half of the population in this country nodding their heads in agreement. The President did admit that his is a "hard job," so why not enjoy some golf to relax from all that pressure, right? I don't know how Michelle feels about hot dogs, though! If you put relish on them, does that qualify as a vegetable? :

Sure, hot dogs can be a vegetable. We're redefining everything. Besides, any number of legislators are hot dogs and vegetables simultaneously, and that isn't easy.

LOL! "Hot dogs" and "vegetables" are the most apt description of some of our legislators I've ever seen! Kudos!!!! :

but because we see the republicans refusing to exercise this simple act, using the powers available to them, tells us there is actually nothing new to be found out
I seem to recall the Justice Dept first ignored the subpoenas and then when forced claimed executive privledge. But my comment was about the media lack of interest, not congress.

All right, so I only read about the first three pages of posts on this thread before I got totally disgusted. Unless there was some spontaneous generation of IQ points in the last few pages, I have to say, what a bunch of total shills you people are trying to cover the government’s ample posterior on this.

We don't know much about what happened that night, both in Benghazi and Washington. Do we even know what the president did during the time of this attack?

And it sure is "shoot the messenger" time when the story comes from someone they don't like. But not CNN, they don't run with anything that's not verified, LOL!

They are pulling out every stop to do anything but address this story. Truthers! Huh? We don't even have a full account of what happened yet, but they are truthers? You have to wait until at least one version of the story comes out before you pull that one out! Unless you are hanging your small hats on the Youtube video story that they pushed.

Where was this type of reporting during Watergate, a story that was barely covered in the beginning, until those truthers at the WP wouldn't let it die? I mean, it was just a break in by nobody important at the time. Nobody died.

those were department of justice employees. what was not revealed that you would have wanted expressed?

and the congress can generate the media interest if it will issue subpoenas and hold public hearings
so, why haven't they done so?
could it be because they know it will dredge up a big fat nothing?
