Former Ryan Intern Arrested in Nude Photo Scheme

It kind of has nothing to do with Paul Ryan either. Having worked on the Hill for a bit I can tell you that interns come and go and do not have a lot of meaningful interaction with the Members. They are generally hired by, managed, and otherwise interact with the staffers. I'd be surprised if most Members could tell you all their interns' names in a pop quiz if their career depended upon it.

Other than this being a slow news day, you felt the need why?

It kinda is. You know, Family Values and all that warm and fuzzy stuff.
Reminds me of those christians.

Actually it's about stupid women...with or without warm and fuzzy stuff...

Former Ryan Intern Arrested in Nude Photo Scheme - Adam Savader alleged to have cyberstalked, extorted women

Sad, just sad.

(This really has nothing to do with the Republican party before everybody jumps on me again).
The only thing that makes this story even remotely newsworthy is that the sleaze bag did a stint as an intern with a prominent political figure. The truth of the matter is that an intern for Microsoft could have gotten arrested for the same thing and it would have as much to do with Paul Ryan as this guy.

Well, except that he did work for Ryan and Gingrich, and did not work for Microsoft. So it has a little more to do with Ryan than it does Microsoft.

Actually it's about stupid women...with or without warm and fuzzy stuff...

ahhhh, and now you blame the woman. I dont not find this surprising coming from a conservative.

Other than this being a slow news day, you felt the need why?

Since you don't care, why did you reply? Just because there's a post, you are not obligated to read it or reply. Not sure if you knew that.

I thought it was a semi-interesting story.

Actually it's about stupid women...with or without warm and fuzzy stuff...

not to defend the actions of this dirtbag, but...if these women had not put naked pictures of themselves out there...he would have had nothing with which to blackmail them.

and, NO, I am not "blaming the victim". just offering some common sense about how not to become a victim of this kind of crap. If you are foolish enough to let anyone have nude/compromising pictures of yourself or make a freakin sex tape....don't be shocked if it comes back to bite you in the ass one day.

ahhhh, and now you blame the woman. I dont not find this surprising coming from a conservative.

how/where did this dirtbag get the pics he used to blackmail them?

You should have just said: "Yes, this has nothing to do with Paul Ryan" and moved on because now we have to examine how this has "a little" to do with him.

In what way does this have "a little to do with him"? Did he have knowledge of this persons activities? Was he in on it? Did he influence this person to do what he did in any way? I'd like to hear just what "a little" is in this case.

Actually, it's a good thread because it acts like a highlighter to outline ideologues.

You can go to the first page and tell who is ridiculously partisan.

Of course it has to do with Paul Ryan, the guy was Ryan's intern so it's just as if Ryan did it himself and since Ryan is a Republican, clearly the Republican Party condones this.

I do wonder why Rocket never seems to find those affiliated with Dems interesting.

Just saying

I think you're using the word "intern" a bit generously.

The way this has been covered by Long Island's local News 12 network, I get the impression this guy stuffed envelopes in a town Republican office or something. I don't get the impression he had any real connection with the Romney campaign.

Agreed. In our State office here in Lansing Michigan we get interns and I would hate to be held responsible for anything they later do or even did while with us in their own lives.

btw - the guy looks like he would not have the slightest idea what to do with a woman - let alone a nude photo of one. Creepy looking fellow.

if so....how did HE get them?

From the woman of course, but it was offered in private im sure. This does not mean it's the womans fault. She upheld her bargain, and exploited it. He went and took advantage of her like any criminal would.

Are you one of those types that says, well it was her fault that she got raped. Just look how she was dressed. She was just asking for it.
Is this you?

which begs the question. If they had already sent him one (or more) nude photos, why would he need to blackmail them for more or...why would they object to voluntarily sending him more. I would be more inclined to believe that he got the first ones illicitly from "a friend of a friend of a friend" type deal.

This does not mean it's the womans fault.

never said it was

I thought I made the answer to that quite clear in my first post on the subject.
