Boston, MA (CNN) — Investigators believe they have identified a suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings, a source who has been briefed on the investigation told CNN.
The possible breakthrough came from an analysis of video from a Lord and Taylor department store near the site of the second blast, and video from a Boston TV station helped as well, the official said.
Authorities have a clear image of someone placing the kind of package authorities are looking for, including clear identification of the possible suspect's face, the source told CNN. <snip>

That's great news. Since it's out, if true, they ought to put the guy's picture up on every news broadcast and catch his ass. It makes sense to me -- everybody's walking around taking pictures and videos. They picked a stupid venue not to get caught.

Edit: Scratch that. ^^^ They can't be sure so early.

The child behind him sure looks like he's following him.
 
It looks like it may be the guy in the dark blue jacket ,sun glasses, Grey and black strap over left shoulder. He is not wearing a hat. Can not tell what nationality he is but he looks darker but hard to tell. Don't know if this is actually the guy since this is the first I have heard of it.

What was described to me, the guy was facing straight at the camera, and the backpack straps were over his arm.
Lower left side, brown hair, beard. no hat.
