Coulter: The killing of politicians’ children should ‘start with Meghan McCain’

Coulter and Bashir each stuck feet-in-mouth.... but Coulter went way out of line naming McCain's daughter like that.


That's just beyond the pale.
 
See I think Coulter is basically a secret liberal and she is trolling the **** out of us. Like the Borat of pundits.

Look, you can't just make up your own meanings for phrases and then get mad when not everyone uses the same meaning. When someone uses the phrase "out of line," they mean it was unprofessional, improper, unacceptable, or assholish. None of those things mean "illegal."

It's not answering to me. It's an English phrase with a particular meaning. I didn't coin it.
 
Guess I'm in the minority here. I see nothing wrong with what Coulter wrote. She was only pointing out the absurdity of the exchange on MSNBC.
 
Coulter is pretty reprehensible, any time she opens that hole in her face. That being said, the Republicans can filibuster all they want. It just doesn't have the same power it used to.

It kind of does though. They're saying there is one right or correct way to think and they're musing that they hope it doesn't take killing family members of Republicans. The suggestion certainly is that while they'd rather that not be the case, if it's the only thing that would get Republicans to be on the right side, well....

Well, no. You are assuming the thinking is that he will never be on the right side unless it affected him personally. It is an attack on his character, not a desire to have his family attacked.

Difficult to rank. But, since you asked, in no particular order:

1. Stupid statements.

2. Her self-assurance that her fan base will be excited by her stupid statements.

3. After analysing #'s 1 & 2 above, her willing and insincere pandering to the stupid and the clueless for monetary gain.

I think what bothers the left about her is that she is better at what she does than say your versions such as Maher and Mad Cow and Matthews.

And when the right is reduced to thinking that provoking a reaction is something that somehow resembles a "win", it looks like victory to me

Sort of like the way the terrorists cheer when they blow up some Israelis. They know they're losers, so they have to take pleasure in mindless attacks
