Wussification of America

History will show that America was destroyed by integration, immigration, feminization and homosexualization.

In other words, the Democrat Party platform, all protected by the terminally corrosive cancer of political correctness.

Christianity is the disease, not the cure....................................

Reading works wonders too, I found. Anyhow, after reading too many history texts for my own good, certainly reading too many articles, hearing tv commentators yammer about the decline of American society because of some supposed change in gendered values, it becomes rather amusing at this point for me.

History: tends to calm your bum down.
Sorry, just wanted to offer a lighthearted remark suggesting that these "cool-headed" people you speak of are unlikely to spend significant amounts of time on a website devoted to argument and spirited discussion. Present company excluded of course. ;)

No. What really bothers me is they are merely some special interest group thinking they are entitled to special treatment and taxfree status......................

almost all religious organizations are entitled to tax-free status. Christians as individuals are not.

OP is nothing but far right wing drivel.

There seems to be this rather odd notion among some Conservative Men that they're the last of the "Real Manly Manly Men" and act as if they're the only things holding the country together with their grotesque manliness, toiling each day while the guy down the street gets a free ride, acting as if he gets his grocery bills directly invoiced to his manly manly mail box.

I am aware of that. Then all "religions" should have their tax exempt status revoked due to the abominable results of granting such status to Christianity, Judaism, and Islam.......................We live and learn...........................

I agree with Bolling's point yesterday about Americans becoming wussies and political correctness being a major source.

There's the sense of entitlement since we don't let kid's experience failure nowadays. That includes things from not letting kids fail at school when their results are insufficient to handing out participation trophies. Some schools are even banning sporting activities to prevent anyone from feeling like a loser.

We surrender to just about any complaint, rather that seeing if any of the responsibility falls on the complainant. For example, schools are removing a cross or picture of Jesus if one or two people complain, even if a hundred want it there. Someone needs to speak up and tell them to ignore it if they don't like it.

You might say "the older generation always says the younger is worse." However, the upward trends for the numbers in divorce, kids born out of wedlock, government handouts, obesity, average age people live with parents until, etc. speak for themselves.

What will it take to get society to acknowledge these mistakes and fix them? Feel free to add more.

Eric Bolling: Mike Rice Firing Symbol Of 'The Wussification Of American Men' (VIDEO)

This is a pretty lame justification for a guy being an asshole. But since it's from Fox, where everything in their view has a political meaning, why would anybody be surprised. Apparently the tactics used by Rutgers coaches don't work too well. They didn't make the tournement did they? Maybe thats why Coach K always turns out winners and nobody knew the Rutgers coach until he revealed his homophobia. Coach K seems to get results without being an asshole. So it seems to me that Bolling is full of crap and has no concept of what actually works in coaching. I doubt Rick Patino takes that approach either. Seems to be the approach by a guy that can't get results by treating players like men.

a guy i sort of knew on another board-sadly deceased now-he came to America seeking better treatment for kidney issues than he could get in Australia and then became a citizen, stated as follows

a nation that tells all its children that they are winners, no matter what, quickly becomes a country full of losers

And that has something to do with the Rutgers situation...how?

The left constantly whines about how Christians can be so judgmental... must not like the competition.

You confuse whining with laughter at the hypocrisy. Apparently the Rutgers approach to competition doesn't work. They didn't make the tournement. Maybe the guy should ask what Coach K is doing that works so well. They don't seem to have these kind of problems at Duke.

Political Correctness, like the War on Christmas or Rape Culture. Only this time, it's real. Ta-tun-tuuuuuun!

They're a bunch of whining *****'s.

Right...if we only kept segregation, we'd be so much better off. That's quite a statement to make. I don't usually find a self admitted asshole that longs for the days of segregation, but of course it would come from a conservative. I believe that history is already in on Martin Luther King, and on the KKK and the racist segregationists that you seem to align yourself with. What's it like waking up every day as an out of the closet bigot?:applaud

The left is obsessed with "hypocrisy" - it's as if cognitive development froze in adolescence.

Nonetheless, some know a good basketball program when they see it. Believing that you'd get more out of a Duke team by screaming at it is like believing you'd get more flavor out of a fine filet mignon by covering it with Heinz 57.

This post reminds me of one of the great old TV comedies -

Unfortunately, it works both ways. No way in hell a show like "All in the Family" would be televised nowadays out of concern for "sensitivity," "diversity," "propriety" and a half-dozen other words ending in "-ity".

There are many reasons for wussification.... and its happening everywhere. Europe isn't really doing all that better in this chapter. It's all a big pile of crap that is collectively being forced down our necks, and if you don't like it you're ostracized.

I don't know who them the OP was talking about were, and I don't care... they don't matter in the large scale of things.

Would you mind if they put up a picture up Islamic art in a school? Or would you be screaming "SHARRIIIAA LAWWWW."

People experience failure ALL THE TIME, also I havn't heard of any schools banning sports, and if they exist they are a huge minority.

Calling people **** and faggot will get you fired from most jobs.

there is no wussification, if you need to berate people or hit them, or put people down to feel like a man, you are a wuss to begin with.

I think that has to do with society always trying to equate men and women, instead of focusing on the unique values of each. I even hear women complain about chivalry being gone. But I think that's partly due to fewer women acting like ladies. Every day you hear complaints for them to join boys football or military front line. Anyone who knows the basics of reverse-engineering can give the most likely reasons as to why men are physically stronger, women softer, men less emotional thinkers, etc. I credit a lot of my successful marriage to my wife and me being very traditional. From the day she moved in with me, we didn't even have to discuss responsibilities.

When do you hear women wanting to join male football? They are few and far between ... and you know how to deal with it? You don't talk to those people.

I have no real need to make it only about Rutgers.

For those who want to see what Eric Bolling is actually defending:

Bolling never defended Rice's behavior. He used it as a springboard to get into another conversation altogether.

However, since you posted the video, it shows the effects of that wussification. If even one of those players had any kind of gonads at all the story would have been "Rutgers coach found duct taped to goat on campus quad"

Woody Hayes got fired back in the late 70's for punching an opposing teams player and though the player wasn't hurt Hayes had a history of abusive behavior. It's usually cumulative before action is taken not from only a few incidents, which is probably normal for high octane, competitive sports.

Otherwise not letting young people be held accountable for their actions is not a great idea. The country is becoming lost in superficiality and feel good fantasies, instead of dealing with reality. We're getting our priorities all screwed up.

You've never seen The Daily Show and The Colbert Show then?
