Woman claims she smelled God during near-death experience

A guest on Tuesday’s edition of “Fox and Friends” claims she smelled God during a recent near-death experience.

“I saw an immense brightness. A brightness I could feel, touch, taste, hear, smell that infused me.” Not like I had five senses but more like I had 500 senses,”

:lamo:lol:

Wow..... she smelled god.....

Interesting that some choose to focus on the "smell" part for the lulz, and ignore that she said quite a bit more than that.

What's all this fuss about a woman smelling good before she almost died anyway?

There is probably no way in the world to convince the hardcore fruitcakes that some threads are just not necessary.

Try anyway, I'd like to hear the hardcore fruitcake point of view.

“To close my eyes, open them and be standing in front of the Creator of not only the universe, but of me, I never wanted to leave that.”

Glad to see that her encounter with God hasn't altered her sense that she's the center of the universe.

Why is it we NEVER hear of a near-death experience where somebody sees the Devil?

Might have been a grilled cheese sandwich she smelled.

Florida woman finds <-- clicky

It’s a fishy story of sorts, but the woman telling it believes the tale to be pure gold. A Florida woman says the markings she found on a Goldfish cracker is a direct message affirming her Christian faith.

“I believe that it’s a sign, a sign from God,” Florida resident Patti Burke told WKMG. “He is still in our life every day and he wants to show that to his people.”

I never understood why some people get their kicks by low rent sneering at religious people - but it seems only for certain religions. Hinduism would seem one of the easiest to make fun of.

Nor do I understand why anyone would sneeringly and ragingly demand he/she is just an irrelevant mortal animal signifying nothing at all in the end by a trivial link in life's evolution on this planet - if even that.

I don't understand why some people think Adam Sandler movies are funny.

Start a thread with funny Hindu stuff if you'd like.

God speaking to somebody through a goldfish cracker? Yeah - I find that funny.

Who is doing that exactly?

those people keep their mouths shut. they belong to the Devil, and the Devil doesn't want us to know he exists.

Did you read the article? There more to it than a prophetic Goldfish.

Much more

Seems the only point of this thread.

A good movie making fun of religions is always good too. Let's do one about the religion of Islam for just good yucking up. That's a really stupid religion and those nutcases are so sensitive about that it'd be extra funny.
