GOP Lawmaker Calls Hispanic Workers ‘Wetbacks’

Senator Al Franken is the official clown under the Democrat Circus Tent.

He ran on a platform as being a clown.

Ah well hodey do! I forgot that Franken actually IS a real life Democrat politician, which means he definitely is more of a leader for the Democrats than Rush is for any party. I guess he's good enough, smart enough, and gosh darn it Denocrats like him!

What??? No he is not a party leader. I don't know where you get that claim from.

Before you were playing coy, if not obtuse. Now you're outright lying. Rush has been the voice of the GOP since 1993, at least. Pretending this is not so makes you no longer credible.

No kidding aobut Rush you are exactly right. I dont know that I would call someone a liar though, he might believe what he is saying.

Rush is not the voice of any political party. Where do you get that from? Talk about no longer credible. Sheesh!

When Rush says something, millions of republicans know it. Saying he is not a very important leader on the right is very disingenuous

Uh...Ronald Reagan, among others.
Following GOP Loss, Rush Limbaugh Downplays His Influence On Republican Party | Blog | Media Matters for America

Limbaugh also has a history of high-profile relationships within the GOP. National Review reported that Ronald Reagan sent Limbaugh an "unsolicited note" in which he called Limbaugh "the number one voice of conservatism in our country... keep up the good work." After the GOP takeover of Congress in 1994, the freshmen class of House Republicans made Limbaugh an honorary member and gave him credit for their victory.

So. Are you going to continue lying?

He's been playing this nonsensical game for a dozen posts now. IMO, he's not being sincere at all. He asked me to show him Republicans making bigoted remarks and has since then argued that the people I quoted aren't Republicans.

Denial is all he has. But, it's not at all believable.

You would have thought the Democrat Party would have done a better job of finding a clown to fill the large clown shoes of Senator Joe Biden.

Joe Biden was the biggest Clown who wore the biggest clown shoes in the Senate.

The world laughs at Obama because he has a clown as his Vice Clown and Chief.

Nowhere does it state whether those workers where here illegally or not. Your assumption that they where illegals speaks volumes.

Ya know what? I really don't care how loud the volume is. An estimated 70% of migrant farm workers are illegals, and I live in a state where 6% of the population is illegal immigrants. If it offends you, so be it.

Well besides that gorgeous.....I already put his azz in check on that issue, concerning your assessment! ;)

Yeah well maybe that was in 94.....he is no leader now. He don't call any shots. Now there are others out there like Beck, and Hannity. But like Limbaugh.....they don't call no shots, and are not Leaders of the GOP.

Although myself I would have went with someone else other than Media Matters for the real dope on Limbaugh.

When He says something there are also millions of Republicans that don't have a clue as to what Limbaugh is talking about. Nor do they listen to him. Calling him a leader of the GOP and knowing he is nothing more than a Radio Jock is totally disingenuous. Same deal with Beck or Hannity or O'Reilly.

None call any shots in the GOP.....more than likely contributes, but definitely none call any shots or hold any power in the GOP.

Myself.....I don't use the term Aliens for Human beings or homo-sapiens. I figures I would save that one for when the Off-Worlders arrive.

Well I aint calling em immigrants unless they are doing it legally. So I guess that leaves wetbacks which no one seems to like. People seem to think its offensive. I personally could care less what an illegal thinks. If I cant call em aliens and wetbacks what the hell do I call the vermin?

Foreigners is another.....although, again with myself. I considered how they are coming here to be Illegal. Since they are not following the way Most others do.

well, if you are left deciding between "alien", "wetback" ,and "vermin".. I would suggest not calling them anything.... I'd suggest not talking at all.

Dont I remember Romney's team complaining about Rush negatively impacting their campaign. I will see if I can google it in a bit.

Yeah and? What would that have to do with Limbaugh being a leader of the GOP?

Do you know who Michael Medved is? Why is he bigger than Limbaugh in the GOP? Yet he isn't a Leader either.

You'll like this source even less, but its from 2012, closing the gap from 94. That means Rush has been defacto voice of GOP for 20 years.
George Will: Republican Leaders Are Afraid of Rush Limbaugh - ABC News
ABC's George Will told me Sunday on "This Week" that GOP leaders have steered clear of harshly denouncing Limbaugh's comments because "Republican leaders are afraid of Rush Limbaugh."

"[House Speaker John] Boehner comes out and says Rush's language was inappropriate. Using the salad fork for your entrée, that's inappropriate. Not this stuff," Will said. "And it was depressing because what it indicates is that the Republican leaders are afraid of Rush Limbaugh. They want to bomb Iran, but they're afraid of Rush Limbaugh."

"Folks, if I had demanded Aiken drop out, he would be gone." Rush Limbaugh Aug 21st show. Romney could not get Aiken to drop out, but Rush is confident him just saying the word would have done it? I dont appear to be the only one that thinks he is a Repub leader, he does too. I am not doing many more stupid human tricks to show this but the link below is Rush putting the head of he RNC in his place.

Racial slurs are always just under the surface with conservatives, exposing their true blighted souls.

And you think the use of cultural Marxism will cure all the ills of society? Over me dead wagging tongue.

Here is a good article defining Rush and his political power should anyone still have doubts.
Rush Limbaugh: The Man Who Ate the G.O.P. | Vanity Fair
Indeed, for 20 years, three hours a day, nothing in radio has so moved the audience to action as Rush: the Republican base both buys the pre-owned cars he suggests ought to be bought and champions the causes he’s hot on. Nothing in politics, or the news cycle, is as direct and powerful as this. In seconds, he can move an awesome tide, unleashing e-mail, telephone calls, and scary Web-site rage. Minutes after R.N.C. chairman Steele tried to suggest to CNN that he, rather than Rush, was the bona fide leader of the party, Rush, reached for comment, merely said he’d respond on the air—which must have sent a chill down Steele’s spine.
