So Penn Gets a Pass?

Its not because he's obscure you don't care. Look at the comment by the congressman, to which he apologized. There are idiots about who think he should resign but where were they when Robert KKK Byrd was appointed the head of the Democrats in the Senate. YOUR LEFTIST double standard is the point. You act like he's all unknown but the fact is you don't care because he is one of you - a zealot of the radical left. So you grant him a pass; if he were Bachman's kid, or Palins' daughter you'd probably be looking for a rope and tree wouldn't you?

This is not the same as an elected official talking about "legitimate rape" or talking about "wetbacks."

Well it's kind of hard to refute hypothetical situations ain't it!

As for Byrd...he apologized and repented for his past bigotry. People can change and his policy stances actually reflected that change. If he didn't want to change or apologize for his racist past he could of just switched to the Republican Party like Strom Thurmond.
 
Oh it might depend on if the person in question is 'somebody'. Alec Baldwin gets ripped a good one when he goes ballistic at the papies. There was no audio to back the photographer's claims and the reporter didn't step up to support him, but the 30 Rock star was racked over the coals by the 'Hollywierd' gossip muck rakers.

When a sitting member of Congress uses 'wetback' or a radio personality calls a bunch of female athletes nappy headed hos, I can see the outrage.

but the son of a sonofgun.... well maybe not so much, but it is Easter and then April Fools so lets give it some time.

Under google news, I entered "Sean Penn's son" and got 7,700 results.

So, if you're implying that the mainstream "liberal" media is ignoring the story on purpose, you're going to end up looking pretty silly.

As I pointed out in my post, the "left" was all over this story before the right. But nice attempt at changing the subject.
