How about a petition that mandates the death penalty for ethics violations.

I can get behind 100%. Show the world who bought your campaign for you and lets see who you probably have best interests in mind for.
Next youll be suggesting we make Jewish people wear stars on their shirts.

Edit, sorry, I see someone already pointed out how fascist this proposal is to agree with.

This petition is meaningless and nothing but a waste of time for congress to even address it. Is this really what politics has come to?

    Now thats quite the strawman.

Uhhh actually the economic policy of fascism is corporatism where corporations and gov are in bed with each other, and with corporate dominance of congress is actually pretty corporatist (fascist). This proposal seems the opposite of fascism, actually seems more transparent and open government.

Requiring people to expose who they support politically in order to control power is fascist.

Or as wikipedia defines it "considers itself in a state of war against political adversaries and aims at conquering a monopoly of political power by using terror, parliamentary politics, and deals with leading groups, to create a new regime that destroys parliamentary democracy;"

Businesses supporting citizens for political office is free speech. Protecting the privacy of those who support polticial figures or movements is a worthy goal.

    How is this controlling power?
Sounds like to me you have no idea what fascism is.
This is the opposite of fascism. This is open government. If this is considered fascism then i guess this website is "fascist" because it shows where contributions came from John Boehner: Campaign Finance/Money - Summary - Representative 2012 | OpenSecrets
    Is that fascist?

This petition is doing any of that how?
Are you living in a dream world or something?

Buying democracy is a "worthy goal"

Youre assuming any money given to a candidate is buying their support. And then trying to terrorize those who do so by removing the privacy associated with personal beleifs. And the only reason you are doing so is to fight against those who disagree with you. Which is why you target corporations and not unions. Hence fascism. Or better yet, rules for radicals.

Why company or person X gives $80,000 or up to $500,000 or even $1 million i think they want a little something in return...

Actually unions fall under this proposal.

Hence fascism. Or better yet, rules for radicals.
