Pro-marijuana super-PAC launched

No, but you see on the Right we have people like my father, who flat out refused to even consider any sort of THC-oriented treatment while he was battling cancer. You also have people like me, with serious glaucoma who would rather be blind than use a THC therapy treatment to save our eyesight.

Yep. There ARE still some principled people in the world these days. Not enough of us, but some.

Good you can go blind, that's YOUR choice. Hopefully soon, you and others like you won't be able to make that choice for others illegal.

Even then, I (and those like me) will be able to keep anyone who chooses to use that crap out of our home, car, business, etc... Besides, I don't see it becoming legal any time soon (thankfully).

Of course, that's fine.

I see it happening in about 5-10 years.

A very stupid decision by your father, simply ridiculous!

I see the nut doesn't fall far from the tree. :lamo

Well, if those like you would like to leave the gene pool, be my guest.

It's already legal in 2 states, and is rapidly growing. Luckily there are more of us than you in the world. You don't have to like it, but that's simply the way it's going to be.

There is no way I will ever allow it around me. It's just that simple. With that timetable, I'll probably be dead before it becomes legal.

What do you base your view that it was a "stupid" decision by my father and myself?

Well, if those like you would like to leave the gene pool, be my guest.

People like me will always be around. Not necessarily in great numbers, but we'll always be here.

Hey, there may be more of you than us, but I still don't see it becoming legal everywhere. The US Government just isn't going to make that change. Those two states are still beholding to FEDERAL law.

It's only a matter of time, Tiggy. Time to stop sippin' on the haterade and just mind your own business. What other people do has nothing to do with you.

It most certainly does when I have no other choice but to interact with their cesspool of a world. At that point it most definitely DOES have something to do with me. Especially when that interaction is a negative one.

That's fine, that's yours and YOUR familes choice. You won't be able to force it on others when they are in THEIR home.

As for being dead, you keep talking about it, I don't care what you do. Frankly if ANY authoritarian either leaves their view or this Earth, it's a good day for the rest of humanity.

True. I just ALMOST feel sorry for the first legally doped up convenience store clerk I run into.

Oh yeah, you're a real tough guy :lamo

Lol, yeah you've got it real rough. You have to live in a society with other people where you can't tell them what to do. You must feel powerless.

BTW if you did meet up with someone high on the job, they would be fired (as they should be) just as if they were drinking on the job.

It's not that as much as the inability to avoid the ones who do not view the world in the same way that I do which makes for a rather annoying life.

I'll believe that when I stop running into drunk clerks and attendants in a large percentage of the minimum wage jobs I come in contact with.

True. I just ALMOST feel sorry for the first legally doped up convenience store clerk I run into.

really.

what would you do, exactly? be specific.

You might want to consider the possibility that the problem is inside you and not everyone else. I see a professional about my problems, and there's nothing shameful about it.

Sixty dollars worth of gas for $6 sounds like a good start. I would take advantage of their lack of cognicence as much as possible (in a non-sexual manner).

It's been tried without success on more than one occasion. I have no more interest in wasting time, money, etc.... on such useless mumbo-jumbo. Oh, and as a gun-owner, I wouldn't go near a mental health professional under any circumstances in this day and age.

This is one of the many reasons I oppose the "mental health" argument of the anti-gun advocates. There's nothing wrong with going to a professional to talk about your problems. Nobody is going to do that if their gun rights are on the line.

Anyway, I get it tigger. I was once like you. I blamed everyone else for my problems. Eventually I realized that it was me who was blaming everyone else for my own problems. I hope you have the courage to work it out. People have the right to do what makes them happy, and your happiness should not be contingent on their actions. Take your beautiful wife and create your dream life.

You are absolutely correct on all of those points.

I wear my problem on my face, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, RA. It's been there for 38 years and is both the bane and the greatest gift of my existance. The only things that will ever change that are a time machine and a DNA-altering device. Happiness is something I gave up on a LOOOOONNNNGGGG time ago, RA. Thank you for the kind words and supportive thoughts but really there's nothing to be done for me at this point.

I am not ashamed of it, I suffer from chronic, genetic depression. I know you feel like it's impossible to be happy, but I just want you to know that it's possible, and I truly hope you can find it to at least some degree. Good luck man.

Thanks Rabid. I do appreciate it.

I figure I'm going to get about $60 worth of gas for nothing.

I guess stealing gasoline is one of those "principles" you are so fond of proclaiming. :lamo

So you are a non-sexual thief, right?

If you went to a mental health professional, you could very well be a life-long case study for some student of abnormal psychology.
