John Boehner: Trust President Obama? 'Absolutely' - Washington Times

House Speaker John Boehner says he and President Obama have their differences, but in the end, their relationship is one of trust and friendship.

Mr. Boehner was asked directly during a Sunday talk show: Do you trust the president?

“Absolutely,” he said, as Politico reported. ABC then reported the follow-up question: “Absolutely?” And Mr. Boehner repeated: “Absolutely,” as ABC reported.

Is it time for a new speaker, Cons?

This is not going to bode well with those on the right

Clearly the Real Boehner was killed by a Drone Strike and has been replaced by a robot commanded to support Obama in all events.

I'm super srs.

I was really expecting an Onion article when I saw this LOL

Boehner just didn't finish the sentence:

The full answer is - "absolutely......, as much as Hillary Clinton trusts Bill in a room full of paid for hookers"

That lost him some TP votes.

It seems to be classic Mr. Boehner to me. When he's talking to centrist, or liberals, he'll say that he trusts the President, but that they just disagree. Yet, when he's in a room with right wing pundits, all of a sudden the President lacks courage and deserves to be disrespected. It's nothing new, it's standard, two faced politics.

Wow, a Republican who realizes that Obama isn't some sort of supervillain set out to destroy America because MUAAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAH!

Boehner has always had a pretty serious case of romnesia.

Eh, I think all politicians do that crap. They make sure that whatever they say is what the people they are talking to want to hear. President Obama does it to. That's the problem with our elected leaders as whole. What does it say about us as an electorate that we continue to buy it, hook line and sinker, every time?

Yes, but Dr. Stephen Colbert was the first to actually diagnose it as a medical condition so he got to name it. It is not like it is some made up thing like santorum being some guys last name, stephen is actually a doctor, I promise, and he killed his own mother with a broken lawn chair.

Well, who am I to dispute Dr. Colbert? If he says it, it must be true, he is on T.V. That would be like saying Dr. Oz isn't always correct, that would sacrilegious!
