Jesse Jackson Praises Legacy of Chavez.....

Civil rights leader Rev. Jesse Jackson praised deceased anti-American Venezuela President Hugo Chavez during the delivery of his eulogy Friday in Venezuela.

“Hugo fed the hungry,” said Jackson, who ran for president twice in the 1980s. “He lifted the poor. He raised their hopes. He helped them realize their dreams. And, so, today we do mourn, because we’ve lost a lot. But we have a lot left – a stable government, an orderly transition.”

Jackson prayed that Chavez’s successor, Nicolás Maduro, would keep Venezuela’s “hopes and dreams alive, as he picks up the baton and makes a great nation greater.”

Chavez, presented Jackson with the Liberator's Award in 2005.

Can you believe this? Now why would they even give Jesse Jackson a microphone to speak. Here he is giving a Tribute to Chavez. This is just as bad as Rodman going to NKorea. Except at least Rodman doesn't think he speaks for others. Jackson does. Plus Jackson is so desperate to get into the News it's pathetic. Wonder if Jesse paid for the trip there or was that on the House too? What a Putz.....don't ya likes how Jesse just luvs it when no one can point out the real truth to his ass. Can say whatever he wants outta his mouth, and the MSmedia will lap it up without hesitation. A Tribute.....who's next, Louis Farrakan?

Yeah, that's the kind of behaviour to raise the ire of any right-winger.

Jessie's just trying to get his kid a job over there if they'll trust him.

What should "raise the ire" of any American:

For the time being, Mr. Chávez’s government said it would expropriate at least 13 drilling rigs, 39 oil terminals and about 300 boats used in waters and land around Lake Maracaibo in western Venezuela.
This equipment and these boats belonged to contractors- some of them American- who entered into good faith dealings with Venezuela to provide a service to that country.

    http://www.nytimes.com/2009/05/09/wo...enez.html?_r=0

By claiming that the stealing of the oil equipment was intended to help sustain an impoverished nation does not make it the truth, and it does not make it right.

It is amazing to me both in the US and in other countries... when the dictator states that his schemes are designed to "feed the hungry" and "lift the poor" there is ALWAYS an underlying motive which has nothing to do with the hungry or the poor.

Yeah quite one sided as one can tell by the words coming outta of Jackson's mouth. Course Jesse thought and said he could get Jeff Fort to turn around to. Look how that turned out. Now just think if Jesse had done the Right thing.....and kept his mouth shut. Notice how this would be a mute point.

I may have to reconsider my position on drone strikes against American citizens...
