    "The Industrial Hemp Farming Act paves the way to creating jobs for Kentucky," Sen. Paul said. "Allowing American farmers to cultivate industrial hemp and benefit from its many uses will boost our state's economy and bring much-needed jobs in the agriculture community. Today's State Senate victory, coupled with the efforts Sen. McConnell and I are making here in Washington increase my confidence that they will soon payoff, to the benefit of Kentuckians."

    Hemp is the solution to many, many things. Politicians do not like this. :p Did you know hemp has some of the longest fiber strands in nature therefore can be used to make some of the strongest things for dirt cheap?

    hemp is a good resource ( and it's not a drug) to utilize

    i wonder why Sen McConnell didn't do this years ago? I hope not because he might have a challenger to his seat with national appeal, ie can bring in serious campaign money? I'm glad to see something positive come out of the GOP side of the senate, I just hope they don't attach some personhood amendment to it...
