Having read part of his manifesto, it's obvious that something happened, and with the level of corruption in the LAPD, I was honestly hoping that whatever happened would have been uncovered before he had to die over it. Granted, what he did was so wrong, and two wrongs don't make a right. But it's bothersome when somebody of his calibre resorts to this, simply to attempt to clear his name. Investigations have been reopened to try to find out what happened, but unless the investigations are conducted by an independent organization (a news organization, not an IA investigation), it's going to be hard to believe any of the results wouldn't be tainted.
