It was his choice. Sorry he let you down, but I knew he was a piece of garbage from Day 1 and you should have as well.

Right, either take his own life, be burned alive or be riddled with bullets by a bunch of cowboys. Great choice, that.

Well, he's the one who went on the run as a fugitive. He's the one who decided to kill people. No one forced him to do those things. He COULD have turned himself in to a lawyer or any number of people. HE is responsible for his own fate because of his own decisions.

It is perfectly reasonable to believe that, if he would have come out with his hands up, he could have surrendered. Note, in the audio clip that includes the "burners" quote: the cops were clearly commanded to ~"maintain discipline". Do you know what that means? That means do not shoot unless one absolutely must. This is clear, undeniable evidence that the cops were leaving him an out.

Given such evidence that the cops were intent upon giving him an out, we must accept that he had the option to surrender. Pretending otherwise is delusional paranoid acutely depressed fantasy.

And launching 7 incendiary grenades into a cabin and saying "it wasn't our intention to burn it down" is a flat out lie. That's like saying, "Threw a bunch of gasoline on a guy sitting next to a campfire but didnt expect him to get burnt."

It was tear gas, and presumably not all 7 went inside. A fire started, the guy shot himself instead of coming out. Blame him. Blaiming others for someone's suicide is pretty sick.

In the end, Dorner was a coward

Maybe it is your fantasy to stick something hard and round up someone's ass, in fact you may even have experience doing such things, but we expect a more professional behavior from our police departments.

Well, we can't expect that from all police departments. Abner Louima, anyone?
