Blaze of glory versus accountability...trial, conviction, incarceration.
I haven't read it, but I do note that there is no "conspiracy theory" being mentioned by the media, other than the fact that he believed he was terminated wrongfully. If there is some BIG conspiracy, I would think he would have included it in his manifesto.

I could be wrong of course, I haven't been following this story very closely.

Not sure why I was included in this, I made no statements on the law and how it was executed...

The only thing the cops did wrong here was shooting up a bunch of innocent people and then lying about burning down the place...

I mean, you have someone in a house who has already killed a bunch of people, so rather then risking more officers to just start a fire and either he comes out to surrender, to get shot or he dies in the flames...

I have to disagree with your assessment of this situation. The guy shot and killed an innocent girl who had nothing to do with any of this, except for being the daughter of one the cops he felt "wronged" him, and her fiance. That's just nuts!

Well, I guess the difference between you and me is that your heart bleeds for Dorner while mine bleeds for his victims. /shrug

My idea of justice having been served would be if Dorner had to account for the crimes he committed. Also, his testimony might have given enough evidence to cause the entire incident to be investigated. That couldn't, happen, though. The LAPD doesn't need any more bad press.
I guess I should be impressed that you acknowledge that Dorner committed some crimes.

Obviously some people have something against the police here. Until everything comes out, I don't see how anyone can jump to ANY kind of conclusions, especially that Dorner was "set up" in some way, when there is no evidence of that.

It's just weird how some fugitives seem to garner support. Was it his FB postings where he developed a type of "cult" fans?

Even if the teargas was intended to start a fire (which I doubt), he committed suicide - end of story.

    Ric, certainly not you.

    Never you.

    NO, the weapon identification was.

It was not relevant to the discussion in any way.

I guess I would be impressed if you actually read my posts. My heart doesn't bleed for Dorner. I think he should have been able to stand accountable for his crimes, but he couldn't.
