It's partisan because you are posting about this simply because the news organization in question is Fox News. And of course, Fox News is the right wing propaganda machine of the GOP correct? That is why you are even remotely interested in this. If this were MSNBC, you would have no presence on this thread. Have you commented on MSNBC's splicing of yet another tape during the Congressional hearings about gun control? There is a thread about it and it is a similar story.

No, the letter from WWP implied that. Fox simply reported what the letter said.

As I've already said, Fox showed the letter WWP sent them plainly stating that the WWP refused a donation on the basis of the event being religious in nature. As I've also already said, WWP should have proofread their correspondence before allowing it to leave their office. They did not, and they had to answer for it. End of story.

As someone who contributes to the WWP i gotta say, unless it's dirty drug cash, take the money yo!
Nobody who wins a war indulges in a bifurcated definition of victory. War is a political act; victory and defeat have meaning only in political terms. A country incapable of achieving its political objectives at an acceptable cost is losing the war, regardless of battlefield events.

Bifurcating victory (e.g. winning militarily, losing politically) is a useful salve for defeated armies. The "stab in the back" narrative helped take the sting out of failure for German generals after WWI and their American counterparts after Vietnam.

All the same, it's nonsense. To paraphrase Vince Lombardi, show me a political loser, and I'll show you a loser.

As it turns out, WWP misspoke on their intial email to the church. The church was DQ'd for another reason, not the originally reported religious reason. WWP cleared it up.

Nice rant! Completely untrue and irrelevant to the discussion and obviously meant to deflect since I rebutted your Fox News story, but nice rant nonetheless.

No, the letter from WWP implied that. Fox simply reported what the letter said.
Without even bothering to call the WWP administrator, Fox News, and Fox News alone, attacks the reputation of a fine organization that helps wounded veterans. And have they even issued a correction now that we know WWP doesn't refuse donations from churches? Does Fox News even know that yet?

Another cracker jack news job by Fox News eh?

As we found out, they do accept cash donations from churches, but they don't participate in religious fundraiser events, which is what Liberty Baptist Academy requested.

Deflect? Ha! I never deflected the fact that the WWP CLARIFIED their position. If the WWP would have been clear from the jump, this thread would not have been started to begin with nor would the story have been ran. Speaking of deflecting, you never answered my question about the MSNBC thread. That's okay though. We both know the truth.

I don't know, I don't work for Fox News bro. How about you research that and keep us updated since you're interested. You were very interested in the story initially after all.

Yeah, the truth that I documented on this thread, that Fox News is still not aware of it, or at the very least they have not printed a retraction of their story that besmirched the name of Wounded Warriors.

No you just defend shoddy reporting.

They weren't disqualified based on WWP's event fundraising criteria because it was religious in nature?
I believe half of the things I say and say half of the things I believe.
