Only because those from the Democratic Underground failed to see Clinton is the one that is in and on the Hot seat. Not Rand Paul. But nice try on looking to spin it any other way. Really.....you guys do need to come up with some better propaganda than just flat out going all emotional over Hillary Lil emotional feewings and screw ups.

Myself I was hoping Paul could at least get Clinton to bawl a lil more. Or at least make her go dizzy and think she was going to fall and pass out again.

The "Hot Seat", uh? That's what that was? Kind of reminds me of the "Duck of Death".....

The "tell" in all this... why it was nothing but political grandstanding... there were no questions about what actually happened and how it could be improved... the questions were all about what was released in the days after the event. Really, who cares? Why should anyone care about near term news flow? This whole issue, as its being pursued, is beyond silly.

.... When will the Cons wake up and realize no one really cares about Benghazi? It is right up there in great American scandals like Fast and Furious, Whitewater and the death of Vince Foster? .... 45 fools without a clue of what is important.

When will the Libs and Progressives learn that with an active ongoing investigation. That most could not ask the questions they wanted. Knowing Clinton would sit there and cite that FBI investigation which has produced nothing. Then really turning the hearing into nothing more than a sit and spin talk.

When will the left understand the only way this issue dies is.....if those on the Right give up. Listening to all the whining and crying by the Left as to what they think is in Important and not will not make this issue go away. Course thinking that Hillary says she takes full responsibility and that there should be no consequences.....kinda shows the lefts propensity to ignore laws and protocols when their Heroes really commit major screw ups.

That both Reports validate that the State Dept was completely incompetent. As in they couldn't even hit the wall of a Barn even when they have things Right.

While they watched it play out in real time for 7hrs. As well as Obama dropping the ball on the Anniversary of 911. Due to him slacking the Nations Security all to try and cover his failing Foreign Policy and his Narrative over AQ.

In the justice system, the investigation is conducted as soon as possible, so that all of the information and details are fresh, and also so that the party being investigated doesn't have sufficient time to "get their story straight" instead of HAVING to rely upon the truth.

This "investigative hearing" was conducted more than four months later. All to find out what Hillary was up to four months ago. It doesn't take four months to trace an error chain, nor to even launch a full-scale investigation (which I don't think was done).

I agree, let us zero in on the cause. It is good that we actually know what the cause is. the state department gets crappy funding, and is involved in diplomatic missions in dangerous places. Every president and state department head for the last few decades has had tragedies far worse than this one. this is not something new that diplomats and foreign relations people get killed. It has happened all of your life, and you never cared. We are glad that you finally have a reason to care, so perhaps you could get off your butt, tell your republican representatives to quit screwing around with budgets and trying to get by on nothing and offer up some support for those people. now that is going to cost money, and that comes from taxes. It also comes from a budget that congress hates to pass because they are squabbling like 2 year olds. Amazing how the dems and republicans seem to agree on this subject, yet are unwilling to actually do anything about it. This is an ongoing problem, yet for some reason certain people are focussing on daytime TV and not on getting the money and resources there to perhaps do a better job of protecting people.

We know the problem, and we know the solution. One has to wonder why the smokescreen about daytime TV BS. About the only reason i can think of is that no one really gives a damn about doing the obvious and sending more troops and resources to our foreign consulates to make them harder to overrun. This is all just part of the blame game because reps never really gave a damn about the people who die fighting for america. Get off your butt and go tell your republican reps to stop playing games with the outgoing hillary and get the damn job done. After you get the support there you can piss and moan about hillary all you want, but if all you do is piss and moan about hillary the job will never get done, and you are just getting angry over something you don't even want to fix.

Perhaps you should drop the crappy funding routine. As you clearly don't know how many NFPs are tied to the State Dept. Nor those NGO's by both Parties. Which in this case has nothing to do with what Both Committees discovered about Clinton being completely incompetent. The reports are dead on about all those Warning signs. Politi-fact already pointed out the falseness of Bidens claim about Congress funding the Security.

The only thing that is Clear.....is that Obama and Clinton didn't see the Writing on the Wall. Unfortunately it happen twice to the Consulate in Benghazi. Twice the Shame!

Looks like the Democrats and those of the left can piss and moan about that! I know it is kinda hard to take when one is going into History with that Black Mark on their face. No getting round watching a battle take place for 7hrs and do absolutely.....Nothing!

Can't get round that Team Obama watched from the very beginning until that very end.
 
Nothing more than political jockeying. Nothing to see here folks. Everything from the budget crisis to the war in Iraq / Afghanistan to 911 are all cesspools in which many of these politicians live in. The necessity for them to leap off the back of many of these trageties to strike at the other side should tell you exactly who these people are. Armchair decisions makers who seem to believe the solutions were just so easy in hindsight. And they insult the intelligence of the average American by actually believing that we don't see it. It is like watching a football play after the fact and saying.. well, if he had only pitched it to to the left during that play, they would have run it in for a TD and won the game. It is as if these people actually believe that they have some sort of crystal ball shoved up their asses that would have lead them in the right direction if only they had been the one with the responsibility to make the decisions. But, the were not, so it is easy to criticize them.

I dont like Hillary Clinton at all, but I am willing to see that this is simply a witch hunt where everyone feels they need to get their shots in before the camera covers go back on the lenses and everyone forgets about this.

As well as all currently serving in some Embassy or Consulate. Already they are highbrowing Obama and her on 60 Minutes. Obama throwing out that praise and how he wishes she would still be around to help him. You know they got to try and pump up their base.....considering they walked out of there with the Egg on their face. While Not just proving to us.....but to the Entire Worlds that they were completely incompetent twits that didn't even have a clue as to the obvious facts that were in their face.

As well as when they were watching 2 of those Americans fighting one of the Best Damn Fighting Withdrawls in our History while saving the lives of others.

Still can't get over the losing of a CIA Safe-house while also having the CIA compromised. Plus the Loss of the Ambassador and others.

She is the Secretary of State... she has a pretty busy schedule and little time for silliness. Now that she is winding down her tenure she finally had a little time to chit-chat with the do-nothings down at the Senate to indulge in their fantasy that this is some type of great scandal.

I haven't even watched the video but I think that more chastisement needs to be had from big wigs. No one in significant offices of responsibility ate crow and ratted on everyone responsible. Just because a den of elite lackies can stick together and hold their backs to each other doesn't mean that they didn't **** up. People are too focused on PR and controlling thoughts instead of truth for the sake of truth. At least that is just my instinct and easily dismissable by any hyper partisan.
 
Another theory that could be said is that maybe this was an assassination through political maneuvers? "Send um to the fronts" so to speak then take away all the shields. You know the movie-esq scene where a commander sends some A-hole off to the front lines. This very well could be some insane blunder with no real fault. OR it could be some epic movie plot type crap. I wouldn't just peg it until people of responsibility, from the top where real decisions are made, answer legally and a competent judgement is made with satisfied investigation.

Rand Paul is the latest far right wing GOP wet dream fulfillment. He embodies the full complement of wacko beliefs that the far right so dearly loves. My fondest hope is that he does indeed run for the GOP presidential nomination in 2016, gets royally screwed out of it, and goes rogue forming his own third party and mounts a serious run that way.

He will lack no support from the tri-cornered folks on this site on others. The only drawback with that is that they spend lots of time fighting the political wars on a computer and do next to nothing our on the streets where the actual door to door work is done to win elections.

Yeah and Paul got elected the first thing he did was reduce staff and Cut costs by 30k and proving each and every other politician could do the same at the minimum. As some have larger staffs than the Junior Senator.

Notice how all those Democratic Senators that joined Right in to cut that government waste. Looking back over the hearing. Notice they didn't say much about Rubio and what he has had to say. Either way it is going down in the History as a major screw up. Which that incompetency all falls on good ole Hillary.

Hillary Dillary Dock.....she didn't even have a clue, and that was with the Clock!
