Five hints from Joe Biden that he’s gearing up for 2016 run

Do you support Joe Biden for President in 2016?

I cannot think of a single republican I would prefer to Biden, which does not mean that there is none. There are several democrats I would prefer, with Hillary Clinton topping the list.

IMO if Hilary runs she wins, and id bet money on it.

third party certainly wont be an influence yet

and i dont think the republicans pick a candidate in 2016 that could possible beat her.

I think its gonna take some time for them to put up a real candidate. (competition wise)

If the GOP can't come up with someone a lot better them Mitt then just about any Democrat will win.

Obviously there is no Democrat you would not pick over any Republican.

I'd put Hillary at the top of the list on the Democratic side myself. But that does not mean I will go on to say I would vote for her over any of the 55,000,000 Republicans.

Actually, there are obviously republicans I would vote for over some democrats. Nice try though...well, not really. Kinda poor really.

Oh for god's sake...did we really need to ratchet up the stupid rhetoric level of this thread that much?

I was just feeding HeadOfJoaquin. Nothing more.

Looking back, you did qualify or "none (you) could think of." So I guess you win. Sorta.

It is way too early to even guess at who the nominees will be IMHO. It really becomes who do you like among the people that come to mind. There are people out there most people don't know of---it isn't as if our last three Presidents were household names, including W, when they announced. A Rob Portman--Mark Warner match up would be interesting, but I doubt it happens.

Biden is both stupid and evil. This is the person who when the government sent in tanks poison gassing all the chidlren at a commune that wasn't Christian and was polygamist in Baptist Texas, Biden claimed the children had "committed suicide" to support the military attack on behalf of Baptists and Christians. Biden is a fundamentally evil person.

I see Palin has an acolyte. Perfect.

When you have a two term POTUS it's exteremely difficult to nail who will be in the next primary for the opposing party this far from the election. All the early predictions are either wrong or go sour with time. It's a bit easier for the incumbant party because the VP is always a natural pick.

Biden's not my first choice, but certainly not my last.

Democrats need someone who says they will do something and then do it. Actually that's what we need in a president period, not pandering with CHANGE or I WILL DO THIS WHEN PRESIDENT and then basically doing the opposite.
I would maybe support Biden if he were younger (he'd be 70 freaking 4 during the election), and if his name wasn't attached to Obama, who is a lying conservative ass. But that's my bias. Just think we need someone younger than 45 for once.. Just maybe

what positions are Biden conservative on given your claimed lean?

No no no, not Biden. I apologize if I inferred that, I meant that Obama is a conservative who pretends to be progressive. Biden actually is pretty progressive, its just the affiliation and his age that would make me not vote for him (if he were in the primary, if he made it to the actual election I would probably vote for him)

Not just no, but a big hell no.

Personally I don't think we need 8+ years of a Democrat president. I might support him running and getting the Dem ticket, but only if it means he'll most likely loose the election.
