You had that problem in the past, did you?

Yes, the grid does get overloaded at times.

Unlike the old bulbs they tend not to just blow, so if it seems like your eyes are going, you might want to change your bulbs as they dim over time. I use the Ottlite 100watt natural daylight ones and they are awesomeness in a corkscrew

Might I ask what type of toilet you and Rand Paul want to buy that's either so expensive or extremely difficult for you to purchase on the open market? I mean, are you guys trying to install some Frech-style bidet or something that's only available in Europe? If so, perhaps you may want to contact an import company that carries your desired product. But if you do, wouldn't that still be available from "the free market system"? (See how absordly some people try to convulute the issues un-necessarily?)

Thanks! I'll take that under advisement.

Your desire for wasteful toilets is noted, and I understand it's the basis of your political philosophy. And I'm laughing at it.

The answer is no, commerce is always regulated in an advanced economy. Grow up and get used to it. If you don't like it, win an election and put in politicians who promote wasteful toilets and throw out 30 years of environmental gains. Good luck!

By the way, go down to Home Depot -- they have low flow toilets that work just fine. Get out more!

Yep, since we all need water, and wasting it effects all of us with higher prices. Grow up and recognize that other people live here.

But to Democrats higher prices are a good thing.

Have you ever read the package? Read what they say about disposal. Read what you're supposed to do if one breaks in your home.

I use the old standbys which I picked up on sale when CFLs were coming in (50 cents apiece). The bulbs last me about two years, have a rich warm light that I like and I can put them in the trash to recycle without worry.

No, they don't. I have looked and they all seem to have the same problem. The only thing I noticed is that some have it worse than others.

That doesn't violate your rights, lol.
