Allen West says he’s not running for House seat again in 2014 | Post on Politics

"So if all you want to know is if I am running for Congressional district 18, the answer is no. My sights and objectives, political and otherwise, are focused on something far greater."

Oh please, please run for President. The overwhelming joy I'd feel at seeing you get crushed like an insect in the primaries would more than make up for what promises to otherwise be a dull season.

EDIT: this is officially my 'l33t' post.

the guy is a really bad joke.

A Fox News gig?

Governor of Florida?

That would make sense. Scott is incredibly unpopular, even among Republicans, and I would guess that he would lose in a primary against Allen West.

He and Palin could run for the Presidency next time. Not sure who would be on top, and I dun't mean in that in a kinky spanky sort of way....

Lobbyist? Corporate puppet?

Yep, the Herman Cain and Michelle Bachman slots on the Republican Primary Circus train are available. Keyes seems pretty qualified to assume the role of either (or both).
