I have to admit, Christie isn't afraid to be who he is and that impresses me. Christie did a lot for the GOP running up to the election. GOP crazies - which for the moment still seem to have control of the imploding GOP - thanked Christie by giving tell him to piss off.

For a while much of America didn't believe Hurricane Sandy had done as much damage as it did. I was one of the doubters. I thought more than a little bit of the spin was about grabbing some federal bucks while the opportunity arose. I was wrong about Sandy and it many Americans changed their minds as well about the extent of damage and the motivation behind Christy's request for massive federal aid. New Jersey was pounded. The people of New Jersey need help. The nation knows this. The federal government can easily find 60 billion to aid New Jersey. The crazies in the GOP won't even talk about it.

All this simply reinforces the fact that the GOP is out of touch; does not have its hand on the pulse of the nation. It is now biting the hand that feeds it.

Better question is why did Bohner walk away without an explanation?
    Who wrote it, bud?
And who attached all the unnecessary earmarks?

It was a bipartisan bill in the Senate bud. When you got usually extreme partisan members of congress speaking out against their own party thats how you know your party is probably in the wrong. Looks like some but hurt Kock funded Tea party members of congress in the republican party are a little but hurt over last night.

I did. This isn't the first time the democrats got something unnecessary and detrimental passed through needed legislation.

Just look at how they got the minimum wage hikes passed. And they caused unemployment to skyrocket.
