First off.. even if you take out the few "mulsim" attacks, the right wing attacks are still dominating.

Secondly.. are you saying that a bunch of people who are religious zealots that want everyone to live in the 1400s under a conservative rule are not right wing? It is you guys in the GOP that invited the radical religious christian right in and they have many of the same beliefs.. you own them. The islamist terrorists are certainly not left wing so they must be right.

Islamic terrorists are not right wing in the framework of US political parties, stop trying to compare apples and oranges. Its ludicrous and insulting to my intelligence and it ought to be to yours.

Islamic radicals are conservative.. they are right wing. They are no different than the radical right Christians out there.. they believe the same things. And since the US right embraced the radical religious right 30 or so years ago, then they own them pure and simple.

Islamic radicals are against change, they are against freedom (which conservatives are too when it comes down to things) and want to dominate others.. all aspects of uncontrolled right wing rule. You and your brothers/sisters might want to deny this, but it is a historical fact.

Lets look at the differences.

The conservative right is against homosexuals.. so are the Islamist.
The conservative right is against womens rights.. so are the Islamists.
The conservative right hates change.. so are do the Islamists.
The conservative right like to dominate minorities.. so do Islamists.
The conservative right thinks they are good and rightous because they give to charity and help the "poor".. so do the Islamists.
The conservative right blames everyone else but themselves for bad things... so do the Islamists.

The only place where conservatives and Islamists might differ is on economics.. and that is purely because the Islamists dont have many economic ideas..

How many times in the past 30 years has a radical Christian blown up a bunch of people?

After you answer that, tell me how many times, in the past 30 years, a radical Islamic has blown up a bunch of people.

That's the only difference that matters...not any of the other stuff you mentioned. BTW, all that other stuff you mentioned is pure hogwash...pure hyperbolic stereotyping...just plain wrong.

I don't know about blowing people up but there are plenty of Christian terrorist groups in Africa, India, and Ireland which have committed horrific crimes. The anti-choice Christian nutters have collectively engaged in 2,849 murders, attempted murders, death threats, assaults, bombings, attempted bombings, arsons, attempted arsons, and acts of vandalism in the United States over the years.

Because they are exercising their right to protest. If any protest is now considered a "potential terrorist threat" that says a lot about where our country is headed.

Okay...good. A fact. Now compare that to radical islamist murders. Make your case, based on the numbers, that radical christians and radical islamists are one and the same.

The fact that both radical Christians and radical Muslims engage in abuses of basic human rights is not in dispute. I doubt anyone sits around quantifying victims of global actions of sectarian violence. Personally, I find the actions of the radical Christian terrorist group, the LRA, to be far more egregious. Kidnapping in the range of 100,000 children to serve as child soldiers and sex slaves is far worse than anything I can think of that a radical Muslim group has done.

In the interest of fairness, you might want to clarify that the LRA is a Ugandan group whose crimes are in no way representative of global Christianity.

If he's a medium--and he is also regarded internationally as a terrorist, whatever he's calling "Christianity" isn't.

Thats a common argument. You don't like what he is doing therefore you proclaim that he is not Christian. You may disagree with his interpretation of Christianity but there are tens of thousands of different sects of Christianity and not all of them conform to a cookie-cutter mold. If people ceased to be Christians or Muslims just because they did something one sect found to be a sin then there would be no Christians or Muslims. My only "agenda" here is to point out the fact that Islam isn't the only religion to have violent extremist elements committing atrocities the world over.

No, sir, that's not your only agenda. And, of course, you could've come right out and just said this. Instead, you thought you'd seize this cheap and failed little opportunity.

Someone who is a self-proclaimed medium is highly unlikely to be a Christian. Someone who encourages barbarism, has been charged with crimes against humanity, and has encouraged the sexual abuse of thousands of little kids definitely isn't either a "Christian" or a "Muslim," however he styles himself.
