Connecticut school shooting: Westboro Baptist Church planning to picket

There are none.
Simply ignore them.
 
SCOTUS has already ruled that government has the power to determine time, place and manner of a protest. That said, it's simple: label every one of their picketing rallies as protests and deny them necessary permits, location etc. It's not like this isn't already done to some groups already. Why not the WBC?

Westboro Baptist Church planning to get ass kicked. (and then sue and line their pockets because this is literally how they make a living)
 
This just should not be allowed. There are limits on free speech, and by gawd surely this is where the limit is.

Restraining orders for stalking and harassment, arrests for not following suit with subsequent placement of the creatures in prisons devoted to violent criminals and then announcing their identity as they are released into the yard.
 
Every member of the WBC should have their pictures posted at every motel within 100 miles.....with license plate number on the pic, so others can know which cars to flatten the tires.
 
There is nothing the law can do.

However, in the past, bikers and others have turned up to provide a shield of sorts between the WBC and the funeral. In addition, the group's tires have been slashed and other little incidents have occurred. Not saying I support breaking the law, but things happen when you act like an ass.
 
This doesn't need to be "stopped". I favor letting them do it. It marginalizes their views and makes them look bad.

Unfortunately free speech is free speech. Even when ugly. Only way to defeat these guys is to hug them and chant back, "We forgive you!" (for your ignorance).
