It certainly makes these clowns a bunch of hypocrites. :rofl
How so? The case was about a crime that took place in Macedonia..

So the only answer is one or the other. Bull****. How about both.

Macedonia and with the USA's CIA were condemned by the European Court of Human Rights. It was a landmark case that condemned various US practices on treatment and unlawful holding of prisoners. I support this finding and findings, if the US want to be viewed more highly throughout the world these kind of practices need to stop.
Snotty Europeans wag their fingers at Americans, again. .
Yes soo "snotty" to point out human rights abuses.. How "snotty"

Let them worry about their own human rights abuses.
Well, Obama is President now, so we won't have any more problems with human rights abuses, right?
Or, at least, Democrats and liberals won't complain about them as much.
If you want a news media that cares about civil rights and a vigorous human rights community that keeps a sharp eye out for abuses by the Administration, then you'll just have to elect a Republican for President! :rofl
Right.... Then why is this being covered?

This practice did not start with Obama if you remember. Probably not though convenient denial
Human rights abuses by our government took place on European soil.......
Kidnapping and torturing people all over the world without evidence or trials? That sounds like my 'Merica.
Hmmm like what countries is that? Sudan? Syria? Iraq? Russia? If so, does that make these practices right and justifiable?
The UK government has agreed to pay £2.2m ($3.5m) to a Libyan dissident and his family who say MI6 was involved in their illegal rendition.
Sami al-Saadi and his family were forcibly transferred to Colonel Muammar Gaddafi's Libya in 2004.
Their lawyers say the pay-out ends the family's legal action against the UK, in which they were arguing MI6 was instrumental in their kidnap.
The UK still faces a further allegation of rendition from another Libyan.
Well we should appaud mr.obama for stopping this nonsense of kidnapping and torturing anyone in our
war on terror - he just kills them by remote controll using a drone instead. Does that fit the "progressive"
term many think apply to him?

The Securitate claimed they knew what they where doing when they imprisoned and tortured the innocent also. And we no for certain that they do not when we look at cases like Mozam Beg's and Binyamin Mohammed's.
Democrats will no dount defend Obama regarding these violations. Liberals won't.

You might be forgetting what the Prez did to Bradley Manning. It was not civilized, and his actions work against the notion that ours is a civilized government. This country is now known as a torturer and agent-of-death.
